Simple question; Should I get the Jenner IIC Origins Package, or Blackhawk Package? Pros and cons (Other than Nova is still bad?)

One part aiming for rewards, one part "Been away for almost a year, Want some new toys."

That said, I am back to being the lord of the Underhive. Locusts for everyone!

I guess it boils down to whether you like light Gundams or medium Gundams more.

I will make a side-note that the Nova is not as horrible as everybody makes it out to be. It stands at least in the middle of the pack for the medium lineup, or a bit past the middle. It has its applications.

Go for the Hunch package? 40$ VS 60 of the Nova.

You get the Jenner IIC (160 Kph 35 tonner), and the Hunch IIC, which can boat lasers or dakka.

The Cute Fox isn't anything special. Nova combines the worst attributes of both the Dragon and Awesome.

I really want to make Party-Nova. Like, you don't even KNOW how much. Plus, that route gets me cutefox. Costs more though. Also means easier to level the Gift Nova.

The Jenner is the promise of FUTURE fun, for Future me. But I already like Jenners, and Basically a Clan Oxide seems okay. From the price though, it makes me think these are gonna be clan tech, but non-Omni mechs. Risky.

I sorta want to go for the Hunchy, but having piloted the IS version, i am... not exactly pulled to it.

A robot that isnt as cool as a Veritech, sexier than a Battlemech(on average), but not as skinny as an Eva.

+1

Jenner/Hunch IIC are looking to be the next iteration of power creep.

Cute Fox is not bad but not good...aside from ECM.

Nova...has unfixable problems but some really like it.

I'd also like to point out I am tier 4 because I willingly pilot my Locust 1V or Jager DD running as many machine guns as I can.

Badness of Mechs is no deterrent.

I have a solution to your problem.

1. Go buy the Nova
2. I gift you a Jenner IIC
3. ???
4. Profit

Let me finish my ****** Los Angeles commute and I will send the code when I get home.

Not risky. They are clan tech but battle mechs: you can't change omnipods, but instead you can swap engines, upgrades, etc.

That hunchie iic can mount dual 12t gauss rifles, for example. Run a smaller clan xl, es, ff.

Maybe not quirked to the nines, but very potent.

Judging by the PTS Paulgorithm, I would not be surprised at all if the Clan BM's got huge negative quirks. Buyer beware...

Technically, you'd be better off with the Arctic Cheetah from Wave 3, or the Enforcer from Resistance Wave 1.

Unless you like the Jenner, it's hard to like the Jenner IIc package otherwise.

Truth.

Of course, this applies to everything, and is why I'm extremely reluctant to preorder mechs now. I prefer waiting for packs to be released before dropping cash - I've been burned before by the classic "Holy crap, this mech sucks" on release.

Nova is also getting a re-scaling to make it smaller don't forget :D
