I've said it else where , Allowing huge groups to drop breaks the match maker.

Makes it easy for the larger group to have all the advantages including skill , Since its harder for the match maker to balance is a group of 6-12 tier 1 players all drop in the same group , Leaves a high chance of a round of seal clubbing that was won the minute they clicked play now.

Watching Sean lang drop on NGNG is a perfect example almost always dropping in the same medium sized groups 5/6 people all extremely high skilled.

The MM cant balance teams that size nevermind 12 mans its almost always a ROFLMFAOstomp .

Not because he's that good because the MM physically cant balance it or give them a group that can stand up to them 98% of the time.

Or the OP's team was just awful?

You don't even know how many of the winning team are part of the same group.

Take a look at the winning team's Charlie lance - they basically just showed up.

Alpha lance was better than them, but nothing special.

Bravo lance basically carried that win - and the OP's team was just exceedingly bad.

Because displaying that information might not support -- or worse contradict -- the OP's argument? Heck, even the OP was hidden in that match score.

You cant try and brush it away the red teams bravo and most of the alpha lance were clearly not just slightly but massively superior to 11 members of the enemy team.

Maybe they were bad maybe they weren't they should of never of been put in the same battle to begin with , But they were because the MM cant balance groups.

Why not? All we were given were anonymous scores.

For all we know, the fight was the result of a well executed ambush with Charlie on the front or flank and alpha and bravo on the rear.

Does the OP want better comments? Then post the video.

Then the onus is on those 11 players to not be bad.

That's the game man, it's a PvP game. Get better, or get used to losing.

Too many people think the match maker is going to pump out game after game of "perfectly balanced" matches with players of even skill.

It's not going to happen in a game with a population like this - and the reality is a lot of people aren't doing themselves any favors by bringing bad builds, bad mechs, and bad gameplay.

Actually, from the looks of it, it could have simply just been three SJR, EmP, 228, or CSJx players.

A single high level comp player is enough to carry a full team of solos in CW against a bad 12man. Two high level comp players in group queue are enough to wreck the majority of bad 12mans. 3-4 high level comp players in group queue are enough to destroy the majority of average/above average 12mans.

max group size should just be 4. matchmaker will NEVER be able to handle large groups

if you want to play in a group larger than 4 you should have to make a custom lobby

no one expects that.

they just expect matchmaker not to rig the game from the start

Fixed for you.

On another note, I really think that with CW here, that it's time to limit group size to four people maximum. That place is the large group playground for the most part.

First they need to fix the spawn points on many maps. That would help the rolls. Also, I feel the psr system works. The reason so many rolls happen at the high tier because one team decided to play together and the other team either couldnt reform cause of bad spawns. When rolls happen in tier 1 drops its obvious what happened to cause it, good players will capitalize on the most simple mistakes and make a good team look bad. Before the mix of players, there was timidness. Now we people see an opening in my drops, teams go for it.

If you dont like getting rolled, ditch your nub friends and play with your psr. Ive seen bad units beat the best units.

When/IF they take away 3/3/3/3 as well it will help with teams getting too many assaults and somehow the other team didnt get any. I was in a drop last night where the other team had 5 assaults, we had none, and they were a good unit, and we lost 7-12. We had pretty much conceded the loss in team chat.

Regardless of getting rolled, I still put up my numbers. Dont put yourself out there if your team is being cowardly.

Making your group have weight restriction instead of 3/3/3/3 would be great.

I would also like to see groups organized from smallest to biggest in lances regardless of what group you are in.

Group queue needs one thing......

Larger groups!!

If you field a completed 12 man, then you should face superior numbers because you will have superior coordination. So 12 man vs 16 or 20 smaller groups all based on the Tier level of the 12 man. Pull 12 T1 guys then you get 20 opponents. Have a good day!

So, you forgot all the hate, pitchforks, and torches when we actually had 4 man groups? How your fifth, sixth, and seventh friend all could not play with you. Forget all that and how much fun that was? How are YOU going to like to tell your fifth friend he cannot play with the four of you, so he logs out, eventually quits because he cannot play with friends - at least more then 4. Yea, lets go backward years.

Going to "accidentally" ignore the multiple times you and everyone else has been told over and over that the population of 10-12man groups are less then 1%?

Duh, CW was made primarily for group and Unit play. Was put right out in front, in the first sentence about CW.

Now, if you actually want to try and "fixed for you", at least have some grasp of the facts at hand that have been provided for you to read by PGI, the ONLY people that actually can know.

No, make minimum group size 4.

No groups unless you have at least 4.

Want to play with less then 4 in a group, go make a custom lobby and pay for it.

Yee-haw! I don't know about most folks, but I found that hilariously fun. You never knew who you would get on the other side. ;)

#1: I wasn't around at that time, but if I'm not mistaken, CW wasn't around at that time either, so they've had a strong foundation for their hate. But since CW is around, that foundation has weakened. Group's made of five or more people?? You're going to CW, because like you said, CW is for groups & units.

#2: If that <1% of those that do like to form 12-mans end up causing a mass exodus of players, something needs to be done, otherwise, severs will shut down.

#3: Russ did clearly state that he's possibly going to go back to having a 4-person group limit in the group queue if people aren't happy with the group MM, whether you like it or not.

Lastly, if you want groups to be no less than four people, all I can say to you is, good luck trying to piece together teams of twelve with these pieces, because with no way to fill in the three or less person gaps in some of those, you're really going to need it!!
