This seems like it should be filed under the PN bureau instead of the ISN division. Maybe a slow news day...

These are things from the Lore that happened on these days since 2012 is 3049 ingame. They are usually written up by Randall Bills over at Catalyst Game Labs. He is the Lore Master of the BT Universe.

That is hard-core. Is he making them up as the game comes closer to release (the days progress) or are they written down somewhere already ?

All of this stuff exists already. The Battletech Universe was started in the Mid-Late 1980's with an In Universe date of early-late 30teens with the Grey Death Legion Trilogy and Table Top Source Books. When the Novels and Source Books were written for 3049 it was the early 1990's. A good source for a lot of this info is sarna.net. Beware though, some of this info isn't on the wiki and can only be found in the old Source Books. Me being the old timer that I am, I have a lot of these books. Including the Rare House Marik book Hehehe

I don't feel like looking for it again, at the moment; but, if memory serves PGI has indicated that the ISN Updates will continue after launch.
