Normally I private message every one and say lets trick Yellonet into pushing and then pull back so he dies. Then we all laugh and laugh and laugh ;)

Hmmm flanking the rear in an all assault lance. ggclose

Works quite well actually. In my experience. But sometimes....

This is also a second option to those that want to take forever in their assaults to get to regroup then battle.

Instead take the ****** spawn point and go directly to the enemy. ^_^

Please uninstall and never ever play any kind of team game ever again. IDIOTS!

I laughed a little, I admit it!

Happens to me all the time; and those who know me know that I get... uhm...verbally frustrated.

Nonetheless, I proprose an honest question to you. When you see a massive volley or LRMs hurtling towards the mech standing next to you, do you A) get into cover, or B. charge forward.

Similarly, when your teammate rounds a corner and gets shot at by several mechs, do you A) start backing up, or B. run forward into the line of fire.

In both cases, I always move forward. If your teammate is drawing all the attention, then it's time to move up and at the very least take a look at what you're facing, try to take some pressure off, and try to get a few good trades in.

I'm sure someone will counter by saying 'that's not how the comp teams do it' or 'mathematically that doesn't make sense' blah blah. Well, I play mostly solo queue in non-meta mechs with zero interest in the comp scene... I think there's at least a few in this topic that are the same way ;)

Use coms, call for a push before you go in.

I love brawling and I love sneaking close to the enemy sniper nest and laying into them with the long knives. But when I see a fool rush in before the call or the set up, I let him die. And I see that often enough.

I had a ach using me as a shield in close combat. He completely blocked me from moving at all. It was 2 of us against 3 of them and we both had decent health and good builds.

Both teams noticed what happened and made comments in chat. Really sad when a 2x gauss EBH does the face tanking at less 200m and the ACH does the poking.

Just turn around and alpha him.

Surely it must be an enemy behind you blocking you from moving...

No way an ally would ever do that.

...That suddenly pop in front of me with a spider, after I've spend 90 seconds carefully flanking the enemy team to line up my alpha, and ruin the element of surprise by wildly firing 2 med lasers and running off. Farkin' REALLY!?

Oh I love this stunt...They can easily escape AFTER they allert the entire enemy formation that my not as agile heavy mech is right behind their Direwolves.

I also adore having two or three "team" members moving in tight formation with me all the way up until the point where the entire lance should spring the trap with a brutal flank attack but they instead fall into deep cover under a rock leaving my mech as the only one to actually attack....Seriously these guys would screw up a free lunch.

I am also super fond of pilots who run their mech up right in front of my mech (that has more tonnage in long range firepower than they have mech) blocking my fire lane so they can fire medium lasers at 400+ meters away from the target.I am sure that the light tickling of laser fire at extreme ranges is super impressive and way scarrier than my Kingcrabs quad AC5s and dual ER Lrg Lasers....Go get em killer!

Or..oh how I love those guys who think the safest place to be is standing with their mech's cockpit up my mech's backside effectivley blocking any hope I had of falling back into cover.

I also adrore players who are so compulsivley against playing to the scenario objectives that they lose a winning match because they don't actually know how capping will win. (Example and sadly a true story) Assault mode match, enemy has 1 spider left on our cap my team has an Atlas and a Highlander left standing about 200m from the enemy cap that is down to it's last 20%.What was the brilliant plan you may ask? well march all the way back to defend our cap at the blistering speeds of 50ish KPH of course.Another free lunch ruined by pure unadulterated geniuses!
