[L3mming2]

the 2 (L) mechs i have found a decent build for are the
cicida;
-2ERPPC, xl265, 8jj (poptart
-4 ml xl340 8jj (30% ml cd here we come)
-3ERLL xl265 2jj

nova
- 2ERML's and 1UAC20 (bal range +12,5% cd +22,5% velocity +22,5% jamm chance -30%)


the wolverine...

the exe
ill use its ct but thats about it...

the zeus
havent got that one...

if u have any other viable builds please add

Poptart/side poker cicada. Good convergence and can side poke (which you should do often, as jump jets impact heat in a big way). Better dps than the erppc build.

Tested this Zeus yesterday. OK I guess, but not as good as the standard variants.

Edit: May go for STD300 + AC/10 after eliting it.

tried for a couple of hours last night trying to do something with the Exe-C, most times I can come up with some workable load outs but I'm just stumped, no idea what to do with this mech.

+1 to 2xppc poptart cicada. Played a match where one mechwarrior was using it like an erppc panther, flying around and landing quick shots. Not going to be a top scoring bot, but looks like fun to me.

I definitely could use some viable builds for the cicada and wolverine. I haven't been able to kill anything with the builds I've tried so far. Then again, maybe I'm just out of practice and/or the MM is being a bit of a ****.

It doesn't get great damage but with the masc you can quickly engage and disengage the enemy when you main assault ball hits.
It is also just plain fun to play, if that still counts

edit: I left out one jump jet in that build, so it does have one in whichever torso you want it in.

The L in the (L) stands for Loser. These are loser mechs that range from piss poor loser crap (Wolverine L) to at best, slightly below average (Cicada F L) bots.

That said, a below average Cicada build would be:

1 ERPPC, 3 ML, XL 300. JJ
2 ERPPC, XL280. JJ.

The erppc are still too hot (even if you land 80% of your shots) to put out good dps. Quirks not good enough.

i thought the nova's omnipods kind of sucked, but then i noriced that the ballistics omni had some nice quirks (12.5% range, velocity, cd). then i grabbed the nova b right arm which has another 10% cd, also 10% uac velocity and 30% jamchance.

unfortunately novas dont boat ballistics very well, all that standard armor. so i stripped off the armor from the arms and put on a pair of nova s st omnis. slapped on a pair of uac5s on the torsos and 3.5 tons of ammo and a cuac5 cd module. pretty much this:

i really wish those heat sinks werent forced. reguardless the mech is brutal, up to par with a certain wolverine that i like.

for my cicada i just put a large laser and 3 medium lasers, max jets, removing one sink from the engine and all but 3 points of armor from the wing flaps.
