Welcome back to CW.

Omega Rushes are in. They (the attackers) only have to rapidly kill the first defending wave and take out Omega before the second wave arrives from the drop zone. Easy to do with a Clan Premade versus IS PUGS. Some of the organized premades are worse than others at pulling this stunt. It's like they don't even care about faming components and mech kills for points.

Some may object to labeling this behavior a "stunt". But its like playing Conquest/Assault and sticky going for a Cap win. This type of game ties with Checkers as being loads of fun, No?

There is a difference between units that want to conquer a planet and those who want to gain loyality rewards. For conquering a planet you got 7 hours 20 minutes to take control of 7 of the 13 slots. Every successfull attack allows a counter attack for the defenders, which means you fight at least 7 attacks and 6 counter attacks to conquer a planet. But in counter attacks you always have the last pilots hiding and doing weird stuff which makes the matches last close to 30 minutes. Thats at least 3 hours for counter attacks. If you then play attacks to their full length, you get 3 hours 30 minutes, making it 6 hours 30 minutes altogether for the 7 hours 20 minutes time window available. Ignoring all the time it takes to build a match of course, because then we exceed that window.

Thats why some units make objective runs in attacks, they are the only option to reduce time.

It's also easy to do with IS Premades versus Clan PUGS. Guess you can catch my drift.

12man at any side are just farming them cbills and loyalty points...

So groups vs groups and pugs vs pugs.
But PGI know groups vs groups will die because there are not a lot of groups out there.

Easy fix, planets should be won only by groups too and rewards for owning a planet should be implemented at the same time.
