Hey guys, I actually have a lot of money now and was wondering if buying the timberwolf package for the original clans release would be worth it. I already have wave 3, because I bought that a while ago, but should I buy another one? Just curious and wanting to ask for y'alls opinions.

All the mechs in the Wave I pack are available for c-bills. You're probably better off putting your money towards mech bays and premium time. But if you HAVE to get the Invasion Primes and their 30% c-bill boost you are still probably better off buying the ones you want A La Cart. If you are determined to buy the Timber Wolf package, I'd say throw down the extra $30 and get the Warhawks as well.

ALL of the Wave 1 mechs are fun to play. Hell all of the mechs in the game are fun to play. So sick of people worrying about "what's good".

Does it look cool to you? Then buy it and have fun.

Wave is has good mechs but the best mechs are in the more expensive range.

For the TBR price, 210$, you get the TBR, SCR, DWF.

You could just buy those 3 a-la-carte but it would come out to 135$. Might as well chip in an extra 70 and get all the bonus goodies and 4 more mech variants.

It's still a big investment I would wait to see what happens with the rebalance. For now I would buy one of the 20 dollar packs with 1 month of premium time and start collecting cbills.( f you're not doing that now)

In order to advise you You would need to provide the ones and only detail relevant to your question.

Do you want it?

The first clan pack is pretty decent, but like some other said you might want to set aside that money until they do their "rebalance".

Otherwise its a good way to get ahead on c-bills once you finish loading out most of those mechs.

That's the best way to go I think.
The first pack had the best mechs and those three are the best from the first pack.
Buying the Timberwolf pack for $ 210,- brings a couple of mediocre mechs you won't touch after eliteing anymore.
Get some premium time for the rest. That's the best.
Have fun

Should I do that, or buy the wave 2 package?

I'd strongly suggest against Wave II, as there's only 1 good mech in the bunch.

You could go for the Origins, cheaper than any of the other Clam packs, with 2 guaranteed good mechs, with 2 not Terribad (but not God Tier) mechs.

You do miss out on early bonuses, but the already released packs have none at all.

You'd be better off buying wave 3 up to the Ebon Jaguar and maybe a Stormcrow, Timberwolf or Direwolf on A la Carte to add some of the good ones from wave 1. I highly recommend you avoid wave 2 mechs, they are the only purchase in this game i have regretted.

But as others have mentioned thus far the big rebalance could change how all of these mechs perform significantly, so it may be wise to hold tight and see how the playing field is afterwards.

Edit: Typo

you do not have scrare crow Dire or twolf?

IF not they are good, but rebalance either needs to bring those down or others up if it works.

SO big ?

If you want the best mechs in the game, and you don't want to grind them with c-bills, then yes, the original Timberwolf invasion pack is the only option.

The Nova and Kit fox are complete garbage. The Summoner is marginal. The Stormcrow and Timber are the best in their weight classes. Direwolf is a beast if no one shoots at you and your entire team doesn't run ahead of you.

Nova is good but has to be played as a clean-up crew.
If you're the front line, you're doing it wrong.

If you're mech has to stay in the back until everyone is almost dead its not a very good mech :P
