Good thing I only ordered the Jenner and Hunchback.

At least one of those are going to wreck face.

The early wave IICs are not to compete with the current Clan's first tier Omnis but to complete the Clan's stable so, after December, they can deploy any kind of possible Mech role/configuration.

I think the HGN and ON1 are going to be a lot, LOT better than people give them credit for. The Timber doesnt have good hardpoints (location wise) really, nor does it have especially good hitboxes - it can be hard to straight up core it, but if you go for STs they fall off easy... All its got going for it are loads of E hardoints compared to the Onion.
The ON1 is going to do the meta 2xLPL + Gauss a LOT more efficiently than the timber does (albeit slower). It will be able to match the Wubhawk build with probably better hitboxes for 10 less tons (4xLPL, 27DHS, XL300). The pre-order variant can get ~36 tons free with a STD300 and one stripped arm, allowing it to run 2xGauss + ammo + backup missiles (only 1E per arm so backup lasers might not work. Could do 2xGauss + ERPPC with shield side)

The HGN is a bit more tricky, but with an XL325 and 3JJs it gets 44 tons of free space (ES, no FF) - basically Dire Wolf tonnage loads on a 10 ton lighter, 11 kph faster mech with better hitboxes - much worse hardpoints though.
4xLPL + insane loads of DHS will work
2xUAC10 + 2xLPL+1ERML + 20DHS + 6T ammo will be pretty sexy

Full customisation of Clan Tech as it stands now is grossly OP.

2 Slot DHS, 7 slot endo and 7 slot better ferro + clan XL without any of the drawbacks of locked builds?

The current balancing factor for all those things (and lighter gauss) is the locked down mechlab which doesnt allow build optimisation. Take that balancing factor away and clan mechs are simply superior in every way. These IICs are the tip of the iceberg ;)

Actually, breaking MWO balance will not be as late as origins release... just wait till arctic cheetah releases for cbills.

And these are not even the best battlemechs the can puts out in the feild.... The Warhammer IIC and Marauder IIC are just beastly as I'd the Riflemen IIC, and those three are ii nn the same TRO as the ones they are releasing in this pack....

Watch the Jenner IIC actually end up being smaller than the IS Jenner.

I'm willing to bed this might be a thing, however big of a difference there is.

RFL-IIC:

1xcERSL
1xActive Probe
3x cJJ
4xCLPL
19 cDHS
Standard 195 Engine (easly make it into a cXL)
11 tons cFF
cEndo Steel...

By the way, that's stock TRO for the standard Riflemen IIC....

Laser vomit meta out of the box....

As soon as I saw IIC's being offered, I started laughing, true not the best of the IIC mechs, bust still damn nasty lot! The Hunchback IIC will be able to run twin Gauss, with paper armour, but twin Gauss....
Do the calculations, it will have pretty much full armor (except for arms) with 1JJ and 5tons of ammo

Well... no. no not really. 4xLPL is way too hot considering you cant alpha for a 65 ton mech. its not really meta (and yes, due to customization + CXL + Jagermech hardpoints it will be stupidly OP. PGI have quite possibly screwed the pooch opening up this can of worms)

Like El Bandito, I'm also curious about the Bane (Kraken) - timeline viable. It can carry 4x cGauss with 12t of ammo and XL300. Talk about cheese.

Other variants is a pure missile swarm boat.

Honestly, what I'd do is down grade two of the LPL to cERML drop the cERSL for cERML, up the engine to a cXL 315, drop the probe for a TC Mk. I, and any left over tonnage goes to DHS.
