We stumbled upon George on another topic called "Solaris?" George is a fan of the IP and of MWO...And he sounds interested in reprising his roll as "Duncan Fisher" as the announcer for the Solaris Area...I think this would be a great, addition even if Solaris could not be added at launch...I want to see if there is a support base for Piranha to contact George and give him LOTS of Single Malt Scotch to reprise this roll...(smiles)...For me it would be like hearing the voice of an old friend again...

If I could vote yes more than once I would. This really should have been one of those normal MWO Forum polls that isn't set up properly and uses check boxes instead of radio buttons so that I could select a bunch of different variations of yes.

It's worth keeping in mind he did more than Duncan Fisher too, he also did many of the male lancemates as well as some of the voices from the Black Knight expansion, including Karl the tech dude.

Sorry to tell you this but Duncan Fisher won't be an announcer until the Fedcom Civil War, so he won't be available for another 20 some odd years or so, these words straight for George's mouth on one of his appearances at No Guts No Galaxy. Not to say that he'd turn down a job, but the character Duncan Fisher would be a little out of his era.

That's Duncan Fisher Jr. Duncan Fisher Sr. will be around and sounded exactly like his son, can you believe it?! What a coincidence!

It wouldn't be hard for them to put the arena in the game. It's called Death Match mode. Everyman for himself. But I don't think it should have an announcer as the guy would get annoying to listen to after 200 times. Maybe for special tournaments but for the mode itself by default no.

I also believe he was a pilot before being an announcer. I remember him mentioning his own prior experience as a pilot and an arena star prior to being an announcer. So logically at the time of this game he'd be a competitor in the arena, not announcing on it.

even if he only returns as a fellow pilot... actually i always wanted to fight along side him so that would still be epic just went from rookie to grand champion today in solaris getting my game back in so i really want him around....
