Just filler content, to be short and simple:
They don't always have to do events every 1-2 weeks.
There's a halloween event on it's way probably.

Everyone is either making new Mechpacks for your dollar, or working on the PTS. Im not even sure our community manager has anything to do with events and sales. So Tina is probably twiddling her thumbs waiting for someone to ban or directing feedback to the blackhole where it implodes, never to be seen again.

Tina seems great, but theres no way they actually let her do real community management. Thats not how PGI roles, and besides, shes been there less than a year (though we gotta be nearing her year anniversary), I doubt they trust their limited income on someone who basically just reads the forums and bans people.
They really need to hire a game designer and a real community manager, who actually writes up all the releases, does the events, connects with the community, hosts Let's Plays, Twitch Streams, and Cons.
At least I see her actually playing the game when I play my low tier alts.
But yeah...
Events were only weekly when IGP went down in flames and PGI was trying to save face....duh.
Those went out the window when them posting on the forums stopped in January.

Rewards for participating in the PTS would scratch both itches...
Yes please.
I have been sitting here for 30 minutes trying to get a match.
But if there is reward involved, expect people will be in the PTS to farm rewards instead of testing.

They did that once and everyone was playing the event. PTS didn't get shite for players and nothing was properly tested because Paul didn't tell people how to actually test the build before they launched it.
They need to do their shite one thing at a time from now on if they hope to do stuff properly.

Why not? As a T1 player you should (and I remark should...) be more experienced than 4/5 of the playerbase, so your input on the test server would be greatly appreciated.
Or you just play when there is an event up?
BTW, I'm glad about the lack of events the last weekends. Too much grind, too bad teamplay...

They also don't have enough players for both.
They keep digging themselves in to a smaller and narrower hole.

It can't possibly settle. The player base is too small to have both QUICK and fair and balanced matches at the same time.
Heck it has a hard time getting a match formed up over the course of several minutes. That IS NOT GOOD.

As a T1 you get waiting times between 10 and 20 minutes for a random match. I get into matches that expect me to deal 700 to 900 damage or we lose. I absolutely cannot level my new mechs in random matches right now. As the PSR score is based on damage and prefers the damage output by heavy and assault mechs, I have no idea how I am going to skill my 4 Wolfhound mechs next week. None of my Mauler or Black Knights are finished, 2 of the Black Knights are untouched.
So why would I play on the test server when I need to use any chance to get some XP on my new mechs? I dont think its 4/5th btw, its probably more around 9/10th, I don't want the new balance based on skilled people, it needs to welcome new players.

Well, I'm not T1 (just low T2, pretty low) but I've been leveling my Black Knights and Crabs (the Mauler was quite easy...), doing less than stellar and not scoring too much damage but my psr still went up, so there's no problem with that.
In fact, as long as you don't play abysmal your psr goes up so...

500 damage is enough to at least break even in T1. Winning is more important though, you need to be either wrecking face in an assault or pugbossing. Or settle in for a long haul to max your bar out.
There is no wait on PTS based on rank. There's no rank based MM on PTS; you show up, if 23 other people are there, you drop. It's that simple. You also get a billion cbills and GXP and MC so you can buy/test/level whatever you want.
There's no sale right now other than the MC sale because it's hard enough getting people to get involved in game balance as is. We complained last time, so they listened. Which we are now complaining about. Not just the no contest but we're now complaining that we got a limited, iterative PTS with no other quirks and IW.
