Probably b/c they were sent a cease and desist letter as soon as PGI started making money off of mechwarrior "coincidentally"
Firstly, kindly provide some form of proof to your claim, and secondly, even if they had, as the actual licensee, they would be well within their rights. Gaming is a business, not some kumbaya hippy commune.

quit getting so defensive.. reading comprehension is a skill.. it was a hypothesis, not a statement of fact.
perhaps you might want to do the same, it was not stated as a hypothesis, but an accusation. "Probably" and coincidentally" is the type of hypothesizing meant to keep malicious rumors alive.

Lies and conjecture. Hell the MWLL guys have even said that never happened. And until we, the public, see said letter, it doesn't exist.
people always do their best to keep slander and libel going. I just find it amazing that if people have such vitriol toward the devs and this game that they even waster their time here, or playing the game at all. I love Btech and MW, but the "only Mechwarrior game in town" argument is a little limp. I could live without MW games if I derived that much negative emotions from anything associated with it.
SMH.

Speaking of mech games... When is Armored Core 6 getting released?
not sure, but reminds me I should boot up Heavy Gear to see how they are progressing
