Hi,

The new ECM dynamic makes it much more interesting to be an LRM mech. However, it makes LRMs seem even more underpowered in my play experience.

ECM coverage may be reduced, but it is also less predicable - and that makes it harder to know if you've got a good shot or not.

Also - AMS needs to be adjusted so that it is more effective against larger salvos than smaller salvos. The way things currently are LRM boats work by overwhelming AMS with sheer numbers. However, there is no point in using light mechs or stock builds that only have 2xLRM5 or 1xLRM10.

In a perfect world it should be a probability of taking out a missile (rather than a firepower vs. hitpoint type of thing). In a super perfect world a really small salvo should be harder to spot and shoot down (thus allowing lights to use LRMs even if they can't carry an LRM20 or more).
