It seems slightly higher jam rate is not the only handicap of bigger UACs. After the jam, the weapon has to do one cooldown cycle. Meaning a CUAC20 is not disabled for 5 seconds after jamming, it will be out of commission for full 9 seconds, 8.80 with Fast Fire, and 8.32 with cooldown module added.

A CUAC5 on the other hand jams for 6.66 seconds, 6.58 with Fast Fire, and 6.38 with cooldown module added. And it jams 2% less.

Just a food for thought.

That is some bad tasting food to think about.

I do prefer it to jelly in most cases.

I don't think PGI has found the right mechanics for UAC jams. The Old Button mash was kinda close since unjamming a weapon requires actual effort. Repetition makes the effort second nature, but many gamers don't wanna have to put in effort.

I'm sure most players will simply macro the unjamming sequence. I know I would.

Kinda sad, yet understandable, we all make shortcuts when possible. Even in RL. B)
