I'm starting this thread to document the silliest looking weapon loadouts.

Some prime examples of this:

HBR with 3 PPCs in a torso

Pirate's Bane with 2 AC2's in the CT (Seriously, just try this one and see how funny it looks)

Banshee gauss rifle being bigger than an urbanmech

These builds don't actually have to work, just display the lolz that the dynamic geometry sometimes creates.

The Catapult A1's VCR missile pods win the award for most redunkulous weapon geo.

I also (don't) like how the Urbanmech's gun arm can easily contain an AC/20 or Gauss Rifle, but mounting 4 MGs requires weird additional tack-on boxes all over the place. I would expect all 4 MG barrels to fit on the default mount without any more addons.

This thread is useless without pictures.

I'll go first: Any missile-bearing Commando after it got hit over the face with the ugly stick (a.k.a. "Variable Geometry"):

That's a COM-2D with dual LRM-10 launchers on the right arm and a single (!) ML on the left.

Notice how the outer pair of launchers is just SRM-6s with one tube blocked? And that the ML sits in a dual-weapon pod although it doesn't have more than one E hard point there? Oh, and the inner pair of launchers look the same for SRM-2 and SRM-4, only with 3 or 1 tubes plugged...

Atrociously bad.

Dynamic Geometry is usually as pleasant to look at as a tumor growing on the side of someone's face.

Well, if it was a Magshot Gauss Rifle that would be more appropriate. ;)

Not-So Dynamic Geometry. :\

I'd expect those 4 torso PPCs to be arranged in a square formation rather than a vertical line, but that would require less copy-pasting...

It is so... ridiculous looking. I had to try it. You wind up at 44.5 tons after stripping engine, armor, everything and then putting 6 x PPCs. OMG so goofy.

How about the EVERYTHING TBR?

Or the Penta-Peep Sadder?

How does an LB10x fit inside a CT? It doesn't, really. And while the PPC theoretically COULD, hardwired Ferro (or Endo, I don't know).

If you meant inside the Mechlab...well, that's not as fun.

Another thing of note: I've just realized the Timby has a second AMS. It isn't released, but it's something new I've learned today. Wonder which variant it will be attached to. This backup is from December 2014, so it's not new (time wise).

My vote still has to go to the poor Catapult, who must lug around 4 VCRs as well as those giant ears

In fact the real tragedy is that it hasn't been fixed in like 2 years
