When I take arm lock off my cockpit will go beserk every few minutes. I turned my mouse off as well and it kept on shaking. Only way to stop it is to shake your mouse super fast and it will subside. Happens only when I take arm lock off.

Just to make sure, you aren't jump jetting or using MASC equipment when your reticle starts to shake? Each of those, when in use, will cause your crosshairs to move around a bit.

Also getting hit by some weapons will also cause your screen to shake, and that is intentional.

If these two factors are not present, then.... I don't know.

Naw I checked. It's getting worse too. It's been shaking like this for about 9 days now. Gets so bad that I end up dying becuase I can't see right. But when I put arm lock back on its fine. It's like someone is shaking my mouse up and down and sideways super fast. But I turned my mouse off to see if it was the mouse and it wasn't. It just shakes randomly until I make it stop. And it's not a light kind of Shake. It's like my mech is having a seizure. So imbjust gonna have to use arm lock from now on.

Sounds like you should make a report to support about this one.

Now, when you say "turn your mouse off", what do you mean? Is it a wireless mouse that you turn off? Or is it like a normal wired computer mouse and you unplug it? Have you tried (if you have any) a different mouse instead? How old is your computer?

Still seems strange that arm lock would remove the problem if it was a mouse issue...

FYI: Being hit by Auto-cannons (ACs), missiles of any type, and Gauss rifles can cause screen shake. If you are being shot at (just saying, though you sound like you already know), it may be causing screen shake because of the damage you are taking.

I've had a problem similar to this, I call it "Parkinson's mode", however I never use armlock so I can't verify that part of it. Some mechs are more prone to it than others too. I have it happen more often in Cicadas than in other mechs. Maybe it's because its arms are just shields?

What will happen is that the reticle will spaz out, similar to jump jetting, but it's not just the reticle moving, it's the whole POV as if I were shaking the mouse around spastically. I just figured it was terrain at first, because it most often would happen on forest colony, as I was kickturning or accelerating from a stop or slow speed as I was turning.
