Which one chassis would you prefer? At least 1 variant will be used for CW. I know that Gman in metamechs rate Quickdraw higher.

Thoughts?

The Quickdraw has recently had a lot of buffs applied to it due to being pretty mediocre and under used. As it currently stands the Quickdraw has enjoyed a renaissance of popularity and is rather tough for its size, however like with other mechs in the past if PGI views the current numbers as being a bit over the top they will tone it down a notch. The Thunderbolt has been a pretty solid perfomer for a while now and is comparable to other mechs of a similar size.

In the past I would have said ThunderBolt by a mile, but as it is right now I can't really say.

The Thunderbolt is a bit sturdier(especially with twisting) than the Quickdraw but lacks it's agility(turn speed, torso yaw, torso twist speed). The Quickdraw is still hindered by it's low arm mounts. Thunderbolt has a bigger punch(or maybe it just translates the available damage better). Having a majority of it's weapon in it's torso and a low horizontal yaw angle can hinder the Thunderbolt.

All in all I would consider it a matter of taste by now, given the excellent quirks the Quickdraw received. I prefer the Quickdraw(speedy skirmishers are my type of thing) but I'd simply say go for both!
