And FFS people, LEARN THE F**KING TAILGATE MANEUVER, NUMBER 3 NUMBER 3 NUMBER 3. I'm so sick of dying because teammates think you can somehow pass through matter...

Concur 100%.
Also, it would be nice if the OP made posts himself, occasionally, to tell people "Hey, I've added X# more of these . . . go check out the OP!" Those of us following the thread don't get updates when a post is merely edited. Although the new ones that have been added recently are very good, as well.

We'd love to drop with enough people some day to do a formation in which the center collapses inward forming a U, sort of like Hannibal's tactics at Cannae, but again, that might not be possible unless the OPFOR cooperates...

I still have at least 10 more comics in my list, some of them from your suggestions.

I'll start doing that. I didn't know that edits don't trigger updates.
Here's the stuff I've added since last time:

Excellent! Very happy to hear that you have so many more of these planned to do. They're all of exceptional quality in both their simplicity of understanding as well as strength of teaching impact . . . and for being quite amusing in general.
Hopefully this thread gets a "sticky" status and becomes a great go-to tactical source for newer players.
Sincere thanks for putting these together.

- don't peak aboo at the twice at the same position (even if you have to peakaboo at all)
- a variant - if you go for cover - don't move back attack from a different angle
- MOVE - other wise the 3 Fs will eat you (Fix,Flank,Finish)
- if you Mech runs 86 kph - use it

Would you mind if I assemble them into a PDF for my unit? I would of course credit you with their creation.

Where you have too many "snipers" on a team and as a result during an engagement everyone is always jockeying to be the mech furthest from the enemy. Team starts to spread out, the few mid/close range mechs are easily dispatched, and eventually you run out of room to retreat with and are cornered, easy prey.
EDIT: Perhaps the positive uptake of this is the "Aggressive Support" where longer range mechs are more willing to move up and support (read:potentially take some fire) the actions of mid/close range mechs, making it impossible for the enemy to isolate those teammates. Something to that effect.

Also, I'd love to see the following: entering a space from a choke point (i.e. taking the middle of terra therma, exiting the tunnel on crimson, taking the top center of mining) and holding a firing line/kill-box (i.e. holding the high ground on alpine, mining collective)

Still stickymaterial.
Also proud to have said Squirrel first. At least I didn't hear it before and only after I first came up with the term in some random PUG match.

Thanks to PS WrathOfDeadguy and Karl Streiger for the suggestion.
