Seriously give me/us this option.

Some of us really don't care where we drop, and since you can't combine the queue because of complainy players at least let those of us ready and willing to fill in the group ranks do so.

Leave it off by default so you have to make the choice intentionally.

Maybe add an additional level to this and let us disable PSR matching, meaning we just want to play and don't care if we get dropped against a 12 man of T1's because we aren't scared of their tiny little guass rifles.

Maybe you don't mind if you get dropped in the group queue.

But the groups on your team may not like having a bunch of solo players on their side.

Now that's the spirit! I approve.

Are you telling me 8/9/10-mans resent the 2/3/4-mans dropping with then. I mean, just how helpful can those 2-mans really be? Maybe 2/3/4-mans should also be removed from the groups queue.

I'm just saying that the balance between big groups and small groups is already an issue. Allowing solo players will give group queue players another thing to be upset about. There will be tears.

It doesn't really affect me personally, I don't play group queue. I have no dog in the fight.

Groups moan because they have to wait more than 30 seconds for a match.
Solo players moan because of the scary boogeyman they might face once every 100 or more matches.

If we can't have a combined queue or useful way for players like myself to actually find groups at least let me drop with people that actually want to play a team game as a team and fill in the gaps to make the MM work better.

Most solo players don't have the balls to drop in group queue anyhow - peeing themselves over whatever the current meta is and all - I just want to play with other players that actually want to play as a team even when my unit isn't online.

+1

I have no problems playing groups in CW, still win a lot. Bring on the group queue!

2 man or 2 solo's makes no difference. They will be the outsiders with a 10 man anyway. At least you would know that these solo's have made a decission to drop in group queue where you need to play as a team or lose. There are plenty of 2 man groups who have no wish to be part of a team but to just play as a duo.

Not having anyone to group drop with is the #1 reason I never drop earlier than 6-7pm CST when the population starts to pick up. Solo mode during the lower population times is horrendous quality.

Then give groups an option to not be matched with solo players.

we had that before the 3/3/3/3 implementation, it was no good, thats why it was removed.
someone said that there is no diference in 2 man group or 2 man from pugs, there is diference, the mindset of group players (and group games) is alot diferent, for me, after long time playing pug games when i join my unit group games i have to rethink my playstile and mechs/build in a way im not just deadweight.

So lets pretend for a minute that we have solo players who want to play in the group queue, but hate people so much that they don't want to join a Unit, or create a group with a friend, or even use the looking for group feature.

And now lets have that person drop in the group queue. It should be pretty obvious that this is not going to improve the group queue in the slightest, although it will probably make the solo queue better, so go for it.

My unit comes online later than I can normally play during the work week - and I've seen a total of 2, seriously only 2 open groups in LFG in the past 2 months.

Personally I am not opposed to having the option to choose to drop with groups. I think it is like CW currently. A ten man gets two pugs and drops. Done.

I would also like to point out that if you want to drop with groups, you can. Just sign up in LFG. Drop in solo until you get picked up.
