Current stats with the AS7-RS I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised.

Ah, gauss that should be interesting I was thinking ac10, but that might be a nice change of pace. Thanks for the suggestion. I am using the 2ll 2ml AL with std275 right now, but I might jump up to the xl275 2lpl, 2ml because I feel like the Llas, don't hit hard enough. AH will almost definitely be xl275, AC20, 3xsrm2 as this is my best centurion on my main account.

We have pretty similar AH: ac20/srm4+2srm2/ 275xl.

I'm a brawler, so I prefer AL with this: 2Lpl+2Mpl/ 275xl

Both have 1.96 k/d ratio, so I cannot whine that much.

My AL on my main account is 3LPL xl260(it was lying around) and I have had some really good games with it, but logic says the bigger engine and ml is the same alpha with more speed and only minor range difference, so it should work better. . . I will have to try mpl in place of the ml and see how I like that. One can never have too much wub

have you perchance kept track of what mechs have been "discovered"?

Kind of curious how many types there actually are present in that thing.

Commando
Raven
Panther
Centurion
Hunchback
Catapult
Grasshopper
Thunderbolt
Victor
Atlas

Seems like there should be three of each (since I am a little OCD) but I can't think of the other two.

p.s.: just bought the last DHS upgrade for my 9R. yeah
I have the big problem with this machine, that mediumlasers dont really register Even in matches where i survive and "hit" enemys multidozen times -> 69 dmg????? (i should try a PPC when i have enough money and play the panther as a background sniper/dmg-support)

It is probably a hit detection / latency issue.

Sorry, I haven't had the time, it has been quite a task just remembering to invite the new Challengers when they post here or on the BATTLETECH forum.

Well...maybe I didn't get too badly served then. Honestly am a horrible Light Pilot, though I like the PNT-10K a bit (only one I play well is my Urbie though). I hate both Heavy Mech options, and while I'm a Medium Guy at heart...running Centies and Hunchies is what I do on my main...so it would be kinda limp to do it for the challenge.

So, while I think the Atlas is a better robot atm than the VTR, the Victor is cheaper, and faster, so I reckon I'll be happy about it. Decided to take a week off before grinding the last Chassis though... but at least with Cbills up, it won't be as tough this time.

At least the Commando is probably the least expensive of the Challenge mechs to purchase and upgrade if you do decide to join the Challenge.

They really aren't that bad. Go com 2D-ecm, 1 ml, 3xsrm2, xl210. 1B xl 240, 3mpl, 3A xl210-240, 2ml (or mpl), your preference on srms.
