Anyway, these are nice simple events and I really like the way they're set up. They're not hard, they reward all game modes, and the prizes are pretty cool. And they throw some freebies at people who spend real $$, which is appreciated.

Managed to grab 2 bags after 7 matches. The teams get all kinds of stupid, 2 heavies and 2 assaults abandoned the team in one match to chase a stupid light :/
Can't really get anywhere being new so all you older players enjoy.... 250 is pretty hard for me.
If I would have known you should really use certain mechs and setups for events like this I would have chose differently...

20% at max of all players in a match get above 250. That means that you need 125 : 0,2 (yes... most countries use a "," NOT a "." as decimal) statistical average to get all grab bags thats 725 games.
In... what is it? 5 days? 7 Minutes for each game is a whopping 5075 minutes or 211 hours.
Congrats... thats sadly more time needed statictically than the event actually takes place. I wonder if anyone who designs these events actually has a calculator.... or the time to use it...
As a side note, the worst egotistical behaviour surfaces again,
-kill stealing
-shoving in front of a firing mech or a target to be sure only the offender can make damage or the kill.
-shoving people aside or blocking own team mechs.
-firing like a mad man on already disarmed mechs instead of ignoring these and firing on mechs that are actually dangerous... resulting in a loss
useful group play is mostly nonexistent right now...

My only issue is with RNJesus, who seems to hate me...nothing but GXP and CBills so far, crap cockpit items, consumable.
I'll be happy if I nab the TBR and a few days premium, all I'm really looking for.

But PGI doesn't care about the average paying customer's inability to reach the thresshold. I've about had enough of PGI ignoring us.

You should be able to sell, if not the new one, then definitely your original one of same variant.

I'd like to see an event like this that makes some consideration for weaker 'Mechs. Like, if the required score was 140 + your 'Mech's tonnage then the heavy queue wouldn't flood on these events. But even that's not perfect.
