Depending on your team ... 6 or so players on the winning side and 1 or 2 on the losing side. So, in each match, less than half of the players are getting a qualifying score. That is PGI's idea of an event. An endless grind, for a majority of the players, where you MIGHT get the 1% chance of getting the top end prize.
I think that most of the players on PGI's MPBT team can't and won't qualify for rewards with their game play. Either PGI doesnt want the majority of their player base to get prizes or PGI is clueless about what it takes to get a qualifying match. Based upon the past three years performance, I am more inclined to believe that PGI is incompetent and has no clue.

Events now equal stay away periods because the selfishness, bad gameplay and insanity is off the charts and you can't even just play for fun. It's sad because I could use some mech bays, but not for what I'd have to endure. My time is much more valuable.
Oh, and it's not PGI's fault that it's so bad. It's this community's.

Nice analogy but from what I just experienced it's more like your kids TRYING to walk up to the house, but having other spoiled brats shove them into the grass knock your candy bucket from your hand and shove to the door while kicking your kids off the stoop so THEY can maybe get a piece of candy.
