The loyalty variant is no longer available, and I'm not dropping nearly 50 bucks on the steam pack that has the (s) variant...I don't want a hero whale that I'm not likely to drive due to the poor mobility/torso twist arc they have now.
Also how are we going to do heros for clan mechs that where released in packages? Not everyone could afford those old 200+ dollar packages so wont have an Invasion variant.

Also the butterbee isnt exactly "new" persay. it was shot down back in the day because people thought it wasnt fair that it had better hardpoints than ALL the other catapults and would be "OP"
Lel.
(im totally getting one tho)

UrbanMech
Panther
Wolfhound
Crab
Enforcer
Grasshopper
Black Knight
Zeuss
Mauler
King Crab
Essentially, the Resistance 1 & 2 packs, the UrbanMech & King Crab
That still leaves 33 Hero mechs that you CAN buy

Marauder Hero isn't available for MC yet, do we know if it ever will? Cbill release time?
Or only ever for $? Same question goes for Kodiak (and Rifleman, as well as any of THOSE)

I'm sure it will be added to the store whenever PGI adds the rest of the Marauders.
Judging by previous release schedules, that should be in April, but PGI hasn't given a firm store release date, so I don't know if they will keep the classic mechs as a bundle only option or not. (The same thing happened with the Urban Mech, where PGI didn't commit to a general release date, but it was 4/5 months later the same as every other mech pack).

From the FAQ.
Q: Will the Bounty Hunter Hero Marauder be available for purchase in-game with MC?
Yes, but the MC release date is TBD.

Resistance 1 and 2 mechs don't, No clan heros at all,
Aside from those, King Crab and Urbanmech (AKA best mech)
So... basically everything they released since they switched to the mega pack model. Whereas all of the mech of the older month models got heroes more or less the same month they were released.

Until they figure out a decent way to not make heroes absolutely borked with omnimechs, then that's probably best (not to mention less mechs paywalled is always a plus).

Think about it this way.
For 50 US$ you get 12,000 MC.
The hero Atlas costs 7,500 MC and you'll have 4,500 MC left over for whatever you want. So basically the hero Atlas costs 35$ dollars. For the Steam pack you're getting:
- two 100-ton assaults with hero bonuses (worth 70$)
- they are pre-built with expensive equipment (worth maybe 5$)
- you get a camo unlock for both chassis (worth 11$)
- three paint colours (worth 14$)
- 4,000 MC (worth 17$)
- 30 days premium (worth 10$)
- 2 mechbays (worth 3$)
- 6.5mil C-Bills (worth 17$)
Total cost of all MC items: 147 US$.
Price of package: 50 US$.
And the DWF is still a monster of a mech after all the skill tree changes. Think about it like this: all of the skill tree changes were percent-based. The DWF has some of the smallest mobility values, so it received the least amount of "nerf" compared to other mechs. It's still the most powerful assault in the game and if you learn how to use it it's just a C-Bill farming machine.

Yeah, I think we should refer to them as "Clan Hero Omnipod Sets" instead of Clan Hero Mechs. Clan Mechs are only sets of Omnipods; they are not distinct Mechs excetpt for CT hardpoints, but even then the CT is nothing but a CT Omnipod.
