I did not purchase on a whim. The Marauder was a select injection of cash (a favorite of mine since watching Robotech as a kid, and playing the TT) and was my only MWO purchase since Clan Wave One.
I doubt I will ask for a refund. As I said, I was only contemplating this option. I really do want to see this title achieve greatness.

You cant get a refund on already injected good.
The only thing they MIGHT do is close your account and give you all your money back...but you wont be playing anymore.
If you have the Mauler and you used it, injected into your account etc THEY WILL NOT RETURN IT. Thats like buying a pizza, realizing you dont like it then asking for your money back...You already took a bite out of the pizza dude.

So, I've been bummed out by the lack of any sort of forward momentum from PGI lately. It felt like things were looking up for quite sometime after the separation from IGP, but now I feel like things are at an all time low (I'll spare you a laundry list). And, possibly in free-fall without some sort of revolution...
Anyway, I was contemplating asking for a refund on my Marauder pack, to fund my 'Rebel Galaxy' purchase. What my friends are reviewing as an excellent spacer sim. I guess it just amazes me that I can purchase a fully developed title (with very positive reviews) for $20 when I've invested loads more into this title, and three years later we're still in open beta mode. Ready to start yet again from scratch, ditching quirks for infotech. I guess I can't help but wonder what portion of my funds go to actual development vs supporting others who ride the F2P train?
I'm not regretting my investment, per-se. Caveat Emptor, for sure. I'm just curious what you guys think?

It's actually a myth that the mo ey you spend on MW:O goes to game development. 100% of proceeds from MC, MechPack, and other purchases actually goes to the Illuminati to increase the size of their black helicopter fleet and update their inventory of mind-control laser beam Rifles.

Dont worry CW will be in 90 days after launch (when they hadnt started on it yet at all)
I like to vote with my wallet and what wringer? You ask for it back, theyre polite, nice and get it back to you near immediately
Don't buy it in the first place, that's how you vote with your wallet. I've been sorely tempted by the Warhammer and Marauder. But I'm disinclined to do so less when the balance still favors the Clans. And of course weighing the mechs, digital items as they are, versus computer components and other purchases.

Only mech I've brought recently are the jenner 2c for myself and wolf hound as gift for someone. I've long ago given up just spending money on a whim here when it is hardly ever worth the expense. I've heard it all from the "90 days..." and "Soon.." Until something is in the actual live game environment it simply doesn't exist as far as mwo is concerned.
After Transverse and Tactics which I did the founder package for, I spend maybe $40 in six months on mwo. Development has always been slow as hell and pgi dependent upon income surges from mech pack sales no matter what name you call them. The urban mech being a prime example. I got the standard pack of it and loved it. Do I use much? No but it was fun while it lasted and pgi probably put the profit of the sale to what ever they needed to at the time.
Frankly put I've decided my money is better spent else where but I will buy a mech or two at my leisure when and if I decide to. It is up to pgi to make the mech and game fun and interesting to get me to consider spending any amount.
