A noob question. Currently i do not own any crab mechs from the resistance 2 set.
If i buy the one shot phranken camo for 1 of the varients from this sale, will it show up when i eventually buy the crab for c bills?

On 2nd thought, it wont. One shots are tied to individual mechs. Ha ha. Answered my own question.

Nope.

One shot only works on a single variant of a single chassis. If you remove it you lose it.

Unlockable is only unlocked for the all variants of a single chassis.

Yes- and colours are only chassis specific where you unlocked them and not universal.

that was on the topic when the Phranken skin was first added.

This was ages ago as this was one of the first "premium" skins added. by premium I mean a skin that costs more than normal because it's harder to make and more detailed then say Dazzle or woodland. The game was much different back than including mechlab, UI, and ways of painting your mech.
I also believe there was even 1 shot colour options as well!

Since than, colours go for all mechs but cost a bit more than before. Meaning the more mecch you have the bigger bang for your buck you got.Assuming you use that colour on every mech that is.


And on your other comment that isn't for me but I might as well respond: There are people who buy standard chassis with MC. there are also champion mechs on sale too and that is slightly less meh. A sale is a sale. It isn't like this the first sale in years and you are disappointed. Hell I can bet you that there will be a heavy mech sale for all heroes maybe 50% of in 2 months.

Wouldn't it be more cost-effective to convert MC to C-bills if you were going that route? I can't remember what the rate is but I know there's a c-bill bundle for MC.

Not really- especially on a sale. HOWEVER if the oxide is on sale it is the best c-bill to MC ratio.

An MC discount for mechs that have a Cbill price, thanks but NO...Usually when mechs go on sale both their MC AND Cbill costs are discounted. Discounting oneshot patterns (even if it is only one pattern) is awesome though.
