People always complain about anything outside of their comfort zone; It's normal.

However, this change was for the best. After the dust settles, and people have taken their calms forte and snuggled up with their nappy and bottle of warm milk, they will realize this was for their own good.

Population is low also waiting time are high ok fine .. everybody agree
But force people to play what they dont want play and give feeling that biggest group will get ability to choose the map will only lead to one thing : make some people leave.
With less players but less waiting time ( and 30 seconds chosing map screen adding ) did PGI solve the population problem ? Not at all it just displace it and make some more people leave.

False good idea, a good solution to a wrong problem have same effect than a bad solution to a real problem it solve nothing and manytime it's worst than before.
