I like Steam well enough, I use it near daily, but I want MW:O as far away from it as possible. Steam is for indies and FPSs. Steam + MMO = Awkward, every time. Steam + MW, I'd rather not find out.

Man what? Just take a look at current game list on sale. Portal 2 is only FPS theres. You EA fanbois needs to try harder. Origin needs to die and EA with it!

I think they should go there, they dont make it on their own. Unless they can spam ADs everywhere.

Use of steam acc to play MWO is not possible, there is no check for duplicities with regular accs & would bring a lot of troubles
Technically possible is getting MWO into online store, but then u have to make regular MWO acc

Suddenly, I don't want MWO to be on Steam anymore. Didn't think of the drawback.
Oh dear god-emperor, I can see the people playing scout mechs complaining about the lack of double-jump already...

Just more meat to pull outa the metal :P

I would rather have MWO on Origin rather than in Steam, my opinion.

^Burn it with fire.

Steam is amazing, yes Valve takes around 30% of the sale price in exchange for hosting game downloads and providing exposure to the biggest community of PC gamers.

The devs should consider making it available through steam after the initial launch once the dedicated Mech fans have already given them their money. As a gamer and Mech Fan I'd then prefer to launch it through Steam not only for convenience of having all of my games in one spot but then as someone already said I'd be essentially marketing the game myself to my friends.

Pretty interesting news. Any guess? I think soon we can start to rent movies from Steam too, or music.

EA needs to die, when BF3 loses its steam its goodbye ****** EA.
