This is definetly one change that i want to play more with and see how it evolves but... Im afraid that now assault will be left behind 3x as often as before because now they are even split from each others.
I would however like that spawn are random for lances so that weighted lances dont always drop at the same place.

Nope I usually play my Boars Head every patch day or other hero mech and note-ably last night light mechs and mediums where leaving me behind like I was a skunk.

If they are gonig to randomply place ppl into lances. might as well remove the entire system

Strange I seem to remember getting abandoned constantly on Crimson/skirmish when I was in my Assault mech. Got to love being abandoned and spawning on that little peninsula out in the open when half the enemy team can start shooting me before I have a chance to get to proper cover or catch up to the rest of the team.

I still think the lances should be 3/3/3/3 and spawns made closer together.

I like this suggestion, it makes more sense than weight class based lance formation.
I remember spawning in a 70 km/h (on a good day) BJ-1 at that distant spawn point at Tourmaline, a kilometre from my buddies. Rest of the lance is Locusts/Jenners/etc. who vanish into the distance in seconds. I swear that's the loneliest feeling in the world.
Similarly, makes more sense to put a 100 km/h Panther in the medium/heavy lance and take that 140 km/h Cicada from there into the light lance.
