I think the authoritarian lodge is that way, see, there are EA and Sony logos over there. Go there, they will take all your volition and make all the decisions for you. Don't forget to leave your independence when passing Activision stand.

So, I will keep dc'ing those game types, and when I got to wait too long to play YOUR game again PGI, I just quit.
This is the dumbest idea ever.

Actually they have the same as the old system, deselect modes and random maps, and it works really well. The only games that have ever had map voting either failed or replaced it with the only system that works, random maps and selecting the game modes you want.
Voting for maps would be fine if PGI catered to people other than the killer player type. As this is not the case we should be either demanding better rewards for not playing as the killer player type or go back to being able to deselect game modes. Another solution would be to add 4 or 5 more game types, if your only options weren't skirmish, assault or conquest there would be enough variety that players would see more than one game type during a play session. It gets tiresome when you vote conquest every time and play skirmish every time, 50 games of skirmish on only 2 different maps, the game gets old fast.
How about this you go play Sony and Activision games and bring all you CoD pieces with you and maybe the game will get better because all the ****** who only want to play high heat high alpha builds on cold maps with skirmish will be gone with you.

Go play Call of Duty if you don't want to play a tactical objective game, Mech Warrior is not CoD. If you want to play CoD with robots go play a different game, stop ruining this one.

It has nothing to with democracy. Games are supposed to be fun. If they are not fun people leave. Allowing voting makes players choose the easy path thus we play the same maps and the same games types over and over and this is simply not fun. It's very boring. For me, I like the varied maps. (There is an old saying "variety is the spice of life")
Personally I am happy to play any game type whether it be assault, conquest or skirmish BUT I can see how important this is to some players and If we take away this choice away from them then they will leave the game.
Maybe that's what you want, but I Don't...

The only people in control are the people who want to play nothing but skirmish mode on cold maps. The rest of us are forced to play the same match over and over. I dont mind skirmish or cold maps once in a while but jesus, let me also play assault and conquest too on ALL of the maps.

I'm going to hope that after the rebalance they have the heat right and that won't be an issue (as there will be more ballistic and missile based 'Mechs... maybe... I hope... pray).
I do miss Veridian Bog. I play cool running 'Mechs, so I never shut down too much!

I personally don't see earning more c-bills in conquest at all.
If I focus on capping the whole game, I get far less money than focussing on killing the enemy.
I think the only good think about qonuest is, that the enemy is forced to move around the map, instead of camping in one spot.

Conquest base rewards are actually higher. On top of that because people are forced to move instead of camp there tends to be more lance fighting tactics, which is what drew die hard fans to played Battle Tech and Mech Warrior originally.

And people don't understand what an actual direct democracy means. The reason we don't have one in the US is deliberate - it would mean policy would be determined by only the most populous states. Our leaders would only pay attention to what California, New York and Texas want. So you're farmer in the Midwest concerned about agriculture? No one cares. Auto worker in Wisconsin concerned about labor unions? No one cares. There is a reason direct democracy is known as a Tyranny of the Majority.

Now when I hear someone say that conquest mode is a dead mode, or that the game-mode is useless. I will just laugh to myself. It's a shame it doesn't get voted in more, but I'm fine. I'll get to shoot you all eventually.
