Why is the Sega Atlas so thin? MWO Fatlass needs a diet.

Its pretty sweet isn't it?!!

Need to see why is got cancelled - I noticed the Marauder is in it. Don't know if the Unseen issue lead to legal issues.

Or it may have been worked on near end of Sega CD's life.

I would definitely have played it, if I had a Sega CD, which very few did. It probably fell victim to the short lifespan of the Sega CD, and the Unseen issue wouldn't have been good either.

I like the way the cockpit displays actually do something.

Lostech.

Pfft...why does that game get interactive drop ships and not MWO?

That looked pretty bad ass for Sega CD.

Just before the Playstation came out way back when, all the Aussie retailers put the Mega Drive / Genesis, Mega CD and 32x modules in their bargain bins so they were absolute steals, though getting games for them now is a hassle, I'd have loved to have played this.

Funny that even the Sega CD could manage to display meaningful information on cockpit monitors...

I don't think this was ever released. The video shows an unfinished game, because it marks all the mechs as 100T

Fortunately, Mechwarrior 2 turned out better than that :)

I am impressed :) While the graphic are definitely old, the animation sequence is quite thematic, starting from jumpship to re-entry of Union dropships to infantry and Mechs.

Impressive. Most impressive.

Working cockpit monitors: Lostech.

They should look at that for the planned singleplayer mode.

The jumpship sail unfurling is beautiful. It's funny I'd never heard of this even though it's been on youtube since 2010.

Graphical comparison aside... That SEGA game has more immersion in the opening cinematic than MWO..

And the cockpit monitors actually do something... lol.. Lostech indeed...
