Greetings MechWarriors,
We will be rolling out a hot-fix today, Wednesday November 4th, scheduled for 4:00 PM PST [12:00 AM UTC], with the following changes:
Fix for an issue where Lances were not being grouped by similar weight class.
Fix for an issue where players could be dropped into a match without seeing the vote screen.
Potential fix for an issue where players don't advance beyond the 'Initiating Drop' loading screen.
The maximum estimated downtime required for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.
When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.

I actually LIKED dropping as a proper lance.

can you give us a refund? This recent patch took choice of modes away from us.

What would be a patch, without hotfixes. Almost every Patch.

Can you please fix the bug, where you have to vote for game modes and maps?

I thought this was just a thing you guys changed and didn't tell us about. I didn't realize it was an actual bug.

Hopefully I'm not the only one!

Agreed, I only started playing mechwarrior online 5 days ago, and since the patch people pick the same maps and modes, need more random

I liked the mixed lances too. Was actually switching up some of the gameplay.

Yeah, well, I want this hotfix repealed. I like this patch, and I want mixed lances again!

Glad you guys are fixing the lance bug. Makes it easier to keep up with your lance when you're at least around the same weight.

Any ETA on when the "expand all" button saving will be hot fixed? Its only been about what 3 or 4 patches since PGI said it would be fixed yet it still wont save between logins or even games

I just want the ability to limit my games to skirmish. I have no interest in playing the resource capping, base capping lite rush B.S. Kill the bad guys, period. While I do like the map choice, what it will lead to is that we will all end up playing the same few maps over and over....what they really need to do is let people pick which mech for each map. i.e. I always seem to get alpine peaks with a brawler and I get the mount doom map (don't remember the proper name) with energy mechs.

I actually would rather lances be bunched by speed values... Cause my little Wolfhound liked it when it dropped next to the assaults and heavies of the team, which it kinda belonged.

Anyway, good job on the quick fixes. I wasn't experiencing any problems, but still...

I'd love to see an eventual feature where the actual company commander can set what lance will be dropped where. It'd help add some tactical planning to the first part of the battle and the actual ready screen.
