You exclaim that the forums are bad, but do you know why...?

Here's a picture from general discussion archives, note how many pages of threads there are:

And let's not get started on how many forums there are in total (Counting the ones that have been deleted as well.

So why dont the cut down the amount of data here to speed the forums up?

60% of the threads here are the same thing by different people or just not important....

I dunno, but here's the thing:

I don't think they've actually compressed them at all, just moved them into another forum area...

Derek you are just making excuses, go look at say the Wot Forums, Just Game play Discussion has near 2700 pages, and its one of dozens of titles on the forum, looks at number of thread posts.....and for me at least its 10 times quicker more responsive..

The amount of pages is not important to the Data size the site has.

If you have 3 g's and 2.5 are filled with 2700 vs 30g's with 2.5 filled from 2700 pages....

The amount of information isnt important until it overflows the size of the container.


I'm guessing MWO doesnt have a lot of storage room via the website.
