Im trying to play on the PTS now, but can't find any game. Even with the 4x4 game mode, is it that empty?

there was some action earlier in the day but its gone now. Everyone back on the Main server

Sides we are all fed up with the changes. I want to enjoy a normal match and not the monstrosity those changes bring in.

The changes have really bothered me and I can't find matches either so I gave up.

Yep - PTS is played in the first of each continental timezones Primetime and then stay abandoned - though a few groups may do Private Matches and dont appear in the Public Q.
You have to read Forums and join Teamspeak to get aware about that.

Regarding the Goal of the Balancing - good intentions, neat ideas but if they work out as expected - nobody knows until reality check.
Probably PGI needs to do a PTS Weekend on the Production Server accompanied with some significant rewards as well as generous pain compensation.

Played PTS, gave my feedback *which will be ignored as will the majority of the feedback* and left.

I have been getting matches, however it has slowed down a bit. Of course the only thing I like about the PTS right now is that I can still select game mode so I guess there is that.

I'm on PTS... configuring, camoing and maxing every single mech in the game :D

Currently queuing for a match because I'm no longer playing live any more and refuse to until Paul AND Russ are no longer working on this game.

People want better balance and longer ttk - but they don't want any changes and they want their weapons to work as well or better. We want role Warfare and such but we don't want anything mechs currently do reduced.

Basically the problem is that people want their current favorite meta build to work just as well or better but everything else get nerfed. We are effectively demonstrating why game developers ignore their communities.

Outside of looking like an idiot, you fail to comprehend the complaints people have.

It's actually really fun..

Reasons people aren't on PTS.
A- They like the current crap fest that is MWO. (probably smallest amount)
B- They're mad they don't get cbills for playing it. (Probably next smallest amount)
C- They aren't good enough to compete without 8 other guys to back them up / hide behind. (Probably most)

Don't be those guys.

Come see how great MWO can actually be.

Shoot me a message if you are still looking for players to test with. I'm just running around with nearly stock lights on live.

I enjoyed it plenty, tested a good amount of things.

Don't really need to marathon test it myself, but if you are actually short on players then say so. My guess is that its mostly players dicking around with the gobs of c-bills between matches if its any amount slow with 4v4.

I really liked the pts despite my predisposition that the laser changes were ****. I didn't really notice it because the 4v4's usually went into brawling range which is completely different than 12v12. The other thing though is that with these changes 4v4 is very fun because of the increase to ttk, teamwork, and 4v4 feels more like a thinking mans game as advertised. Basically what I'm saying is 4v4 is more fun than 12v12. These changes imo in no way are beneficial to 12v12 ... but then how would I know that since we can't really test 12v12 unless we do private matches. Answer is I don't. All i can say is that pts with the current changes seems balanced.

Exactly.

The current 4v4 makes this game just feel RIGHT.
