Each has two guns, side by side
For enemies, are to be harmed
And they will find, no place to hide.
(If it is good enough give the time to a random newbie, as I have nearly two years banked)

My guns shine bright
They have no where to steer
In the mists of the night
I hope this is half decent

Yet the Jagermech puts it to shame.
5 tons puts them so very far apart,
Though the Rifleman has the better name.

No harmony was in your name, your loss a viscous blow.
Now returned to us in all your glory, with heroic lore of old.
Now get your ass into the game and make us all some gold.

Jagermech just took a poo

Rifleman's are blue.
Your Jager's now dead.
After my Rifleman came for you.

My evergay'd joy, wond'rous mech of my dreams.
Alas! No hands to hold, much too hot to squeeze.
Thy chest, I stare, and adore your high beams.

We stand as the silent trees.
Our steel-branched steeples
Waiting in the patient breeze.
Our rifles waking,
Radar chirps an urgent cry,
My hands are shaking,
Today the proud eagles die.

But now you are uncovered
How could have HG been so mean
Renewed delight in MWO we have discovered

Your arms are high and barrel-y,
Great + awesome = grawesome,
I will drink to you merrily!

Guns blaze, laser shoot
All the souls it's weapons devour,
For the aftermath is simply a mute
I just like poems, thanks for an opportunity to write PGI!

They didn't see it coming
When did wolf's reign of rage begin
The pilot said "I didn't see it coming"

The rifleman is a mech
first made in 2505
The legend killer may be made of lostech
so watch out because those guns are live!

With blazing guns, and nerves of steel,
he lunged towards his prey,
he shot their heels and made them kneel,
and made them pay that day!

"Black Knight! Black Knight! I don't feel all right...."
Oh wait that's Deep Purple and the wrong mech anyway.
Ok, here's mine. Its AABB instead of ABAB. If that disqualifies it oh well. Just let me know if you like.
In the Inner Sphere calls out the sound of a thousand marching drums
Heralding debut of the Unseen master of a shoulder's worth of guns
March on! March on! The Mechwarriors cry as they march through a steel borne rain
And in the vanguard arms raised high the Rifleman walks again!
Kuritans! Capellans! And Mareks fall too to the merciless hail of rounds
Davion! Steiner! There turn comes too as their mechs fall to the ground
Even noble Kerensky his vision destroyed as the guns intersect his Clans
For across the battle field arms raised high the Rifleman walks again!
Now hear me Mechwarriors! Take up the call! Ride forth with your lance or your Star
Don't run from the battle to tell old tales to freebirth mercs in a bar
But leap in your cockpits and dare for the drop so that ye may bring forth the pain
For walking towards you is the new Lord of Hell...
For The Rifleman walks again!

(Based on "The Highwayman")
The Rifleman
BY JABERWOCKY and …….
The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees.
The moon was an Atlas' face, tossed upon cloudy seas.
The road was a ribbon of carnage, right through the forest floor, ]
And the Rifleman came riding—
Riding—riding—
The Rifleman came riding, up to the darkened moor.
He had fresh cocked-shells in his barrels, a bunch of grit on his chin,
A frame of famed endo-steel, and plating of ferrous-skin.
They fitted with function and purpose. As Uav’s soared high.
And he rode with a knowing twinkle,
His cannon arms a-twinkle,
His AC/10’s a-twinkle, under the blazing sky.

Swagger in with your clanner pride,
But mark my words; get in my way
And to scraps will go your ride.

The Rifleman's Patrol
The Rifleman scanned from afar
For targets that just shouldn't be
But a Leopard showed up on radar
Outnumbered, the Rifleman would be
The Rifleman laid low and prepared
Weapons readied, barrels leveled, warnings sent
These raiders, unknown, undeclared
The contract said, "This we'll defend", he won't relent
The Rifleman lay in wait and used his head
He'd throw them off, ambush them all, and hit their back
The first in view, a Locust mech, away it sped
He let it pass and readied his mech, set to attack
The Rifleman saw most of a Lance
First Locust, then Wasp, and a Shadowhawk passed
He stepped out into sight, knowing this was his chance
Too fast to pursue, he had to hold fast
The Rifleman fired, and his volley struck true
Through armor and structure, the autocannons roared
The Locust was felled, his engine punched through
They cut through the mech, like the slice of a sword
The Rifleman shifted, the Wasp was up next
He could not risk his charge to a scout's swift speed
His lasers burst forth with glorious effects
The Wasp's leg was gone, an ejection to concede
The Rifleman paused, his mech was too hot
He stopped to cool down and the Shadowhawk turned about
Its missiles were loosed, and autocannon shot
But his ambush had worked, and it was stuck in a rout
The Rifleman aimed, the heat had been vent
In volleys he fired, sending salvos of pain
The Shadowhawk sparred, his armor it rent
Though when the ammo was hit, his enemy did wane
The Rifleman stopped, he thought he had won
But his mech lurched forward, there was one enemy still
The Zeus fired its missiles, a new fight had begun
With the state of his mech, he was going downhill
The Rifleman cursed, he had little fight left
His armor was raw, and his ammunition almost spent
He fired his lasers with aim that was deft
But the Zeus pushed forward with villainous intent
The Rifleman fell under whittling fire
One leg was gone and his gyro fell still
Alone, on his back, the situation was dire
He slammed his controls, praying for God's will
The Rifleman waited, the Zeus stepped above
He awaited his fate, knowing this was the end
But cannon fire rang, the Zeus lurched with a shove
A Hunchback arrived, his warning brought a friend
The Rifleman overrode his systems with zeal
Just one more shot or his friend was doomed
The sensors scanned, the Zeus it would reveal
Had the torso ripped wide, the armor consumed
The Rifleman stopped, the Rifleman aimed
Time slowed to a crawl, the Zeus on his screen
The Rifleman stopped, the Rifleman aimed
His final Alpha strike was loosed at the hellish machine
The Rifleman crumpled and the Zeus left fallen
The people were saved and the raiders laid low
The Hunchback was silent from what his partner had given
The Rifleman's last words, "Sector Clear" crossed the radio.

Built to sweep the skies
Thin back armor makes you bold
Killer of other's rides
