The rifles fire at the enemy
They fly away like flies.
I wave bye bye
Because we both know who cries

Oh Rifleman, oh Rifleman,
Only one thing I say to do,
No way to be on shame,
Nothing is so beautiful like you!

Rifleman, Rifleman, oh glorious rifleman
You've finally come out to play.
Although they may try, not one will stifle him,
The Rifleman this day.

:D

on the peaks a shining shimmer,
where sunbeam's ray meet stainless steel,
a muzzle flash, the faintest glimmer,
the rifleman, The Rifleman, THE RIFLEMAN IS REAL!!!!!

on the field a rifleman
on his back a light
center cored with a reddish tan
will he last the fight

An Ode to Battletech 3rd edition.

Ursula kneeled her 'mech,
within the stand of trees.
Her autocannon to peck,
determined to cut off knees.

The 'hammer came 'cross stream,
its particle beams doth ravish.
Then a mighty laser beam,
caused the war machine some anguish.

As short range missiles homed upon,
her Rifleman's battered frame.
Ursula's autocannon,
took his legs and won the game!

Rifleman, rifleman toil and trouble
heat sinks burn, rear armors glow
in the battle boil and bubble
your torso twist is way too slow

My Rifleman

I have one on paper, from when I was a child

allowance spent on xerox and erasers, the pages worn through

I have one in lead, from when I was a teen, riled

painted and posed, oh what a view

I have one in plastic, made of many parts

It sits on my shelf and puzzles my wife

Today I buy a digital one, okay for old farts?

I hope I get to keep My Rifleman for life.

The Rifleman,in black & white and so bold.

From ancient times so harsh and hard.

Inspired the 60 ton legend now being resold.

oh dear,Time to break out my credit card!

O’ Jeager contemplate
Drowning in a Black and Tan
What is your fate
After the Rifleman

What will you do Jeager
Start your retirement plan
Are you a beggar
Compared to the Rifleman

This new Rifleman sure does look slick,
but there's one that'll hurt your pride:
From the cockpit, you'll find the trick
is being able to see side-to-side.

"Good luck! Have fun!", the enemy said,
as I powered up my Rifleman.
Moments later, he was dead -
Just as I had planned.

It doesn't matter if Tier 1 or Tier 5
if you step into my sight.
I'll leave no enemy 'mech alive
and slip into the night.

White hot guns burning bright.

Torso twisting to survive.

Turning again back into the fight.

I push my Rifleman into over-drive.

"Legend Killer! Legend Killer!" the crowd cried,
I check my weapons and set my match recorder,
Seven years as Solaris champion can't be denied,
Who knows the outcome, against my trusty Marauder.

With a prayer to Kerensky, I buckle myself in,
The champion waves from his hatch and plays to the crowd,
My neurohelmet syncs and we're ready to begin,
Engines roar up, ancient actuators rattling loud.

I'm outranged and outmatched for speed and guns,
Slowly closing range and picking up pace,
The Rifleman falters losing armour by the tons,
And then, the killing blow - PPC's to the face.

I awake with a startle, dripping with sweat,
My room service has arrived, smelling quite nice.
The day hasn't started, no battle fought yet,
Just a dream? Or a vision of worthy advice?
