Pwnface - It was a joke meant in good spirits - I know full well there was no poaching going on. Some who left wanted a higher average skill level, some left due to a period of very low activity we had, and some were asked to leave - and did not stay long in NS either as I have heard.

We're on an uptick now, we'll see how it goes.

JaegerGonzo - Public decency requires that you desist in public coprophagia.

eSeifer - not dead yet, we aren't. Spear carriers and fodder we may be, but not dead yet.

I'd just be happy to see most of the Kuritan Units rebuild over the next few months. It is a lot more fun to play with peer groups. You don't have to be "Comp" level gud to be a great CW team. Just good builds, teamwork, and a couple of guys who can aim and follow orders.

Yeah 3TL is pretty much in the same boat, too many out due to RL and only just being able to get back in, hopefully next few months will see a steady back into the game.

You're the one persisting with sour grapes and general abuse. Uninstall, if you are so unhappy.

I would be really unhappy indeed, with personality full of crap like yours. Best you can do is uninstalling yourself.

Hey, you two.

I think you're both special in your own way.

Now unless you're both willing to get certified images of your penises being measured I think we're going to have to call this one a draw and move on.

Either way you've managed to totally derail an otherwise pretty positive thread. Props on that.

The thing is, that this guy, is just a low honor scum, spreading lies about someone else. That's all, all the truth behind it.

Here's an idea go wash your dirty laundry in PM's on the board rather than derailing a thread that isn't even about the issue that is being argued about. This is what I was talking about a low sodium diet so much salt in this thread. Jaeger you could always make a unit run it the way you want. It doesn't cost C-Bills or MC, only effort. What ever slight you feel from 9SD feel vindicated when you make your unit and run it your way.

I'd like to see that as well. We are seeing some names come back that haven't been online much for us in the past few months, hopefully everyone is enjoying a similar increase in activity.

Heck ... this thread had a post ... then sour grapes ... then argument ... then more grapes ... then kiss and make up then more argument (but different argument) so there is still hope that we all get the happy ending we deserve. :)

I just want Kurita to re-organize as a whole and focus on taking planets etc in prep for Beta 3 release.

In fact, NS may stay HK ... we are working on making accommodations for others whom want to do the wandering mech bay tour of stars.

It would be really nice for there to be more incentive to staying in a loyalist position than there currently is. It is conceivable that a unit could switch factions every week for 9 weeks, complete a lap of the CW landscape and have earned 18 mechbays from factions they visited, then settle in to their loyalist faction for the remainder richer for the experience. Considering some players are strictly or primarily free-to-play, that is a huge benefit with relatively low hanging fruit.

If there were additional faction levels, I'm not sure what rewards would make them worthwhile.

Hopefully the new role distinctions in the next phase of FW will include more substantial rewards for each profession (in addition to being a war council, in our case). Even if it was just a way to earn all the free mechbays as a loyalist, that would do much to alleviate the faction-hopping people talk about.

While gaining Mech Bays is a great example of low-hanging but valuable fruit for MWO -gamers, there would be less incentive for "Gypsy-Loyalists" if there were indeed more compelling rewards for PERMCON Loyalists. I beleive there is a place in the game for all manner of gamer PERMCON and TEMPCON, and that is why I am very enthused about the incoming Freelancer style of gameplay.

(The above link provides a couple ideas with regard to possible levels past 20.)

MWO is like Vegas. Everyone thinks they deserve a happy ending but it's still going to cost you double.

Props to Kurita on bulking back up, CW is, bluntly, a lot more fun when it's is vs is. I don't think anyone disagrees that beta 1 was better than beta 2.

You know, the idea of token smurf accounts like "Davion-FRR Expedition" who is the head of unit DAVF as an example, who can be accessed by participating Davion unit commanders to help Davion unit members who want to go fight for FRR do so and come back with unit blessing seemed like a solid idea.

This helps avoid whole units having to break contract or players actually leaving their units to go on Mech Bay Tours or even just wanting a change of scenery. Having a "Kurita Expeditionary Force" unit in other factions that your units can be moved into, grind their bays and come back from seems like a good way to let players do that without feeling like they're actually leaving their unit.

Just sayin'. Good luck to you, Davion has historically had the most fun when it had active Marik and Kurita borders.

6RNT did that for a time, as 6REX.
