The details are still sketchy but we now know that terrorists have attacked multiple locations, including the stadium where the France-Germany friendly was being played, resulting in mass casualties.

I say a prayer now for the people of France and especially of Paris that peace might prevail and that humankind might find other ways to solve our differences than to kill and maim each other. May God bless you and keep you all safe.

Vive la France et Vive la Liberte!

Crossing fingers and hoping none of our members are among the victims from the recent attacks on Paris a couple of hours ago.

Having served beside the 13th DBLE of La Legion Etrangere in Somalia in 1993, I have a fondness for France.

My heart goes out to the people of France in this dark hour. Bon Courage.

No one is advocating, supporting or justifying real life violence, intolerance or hatred here. We're just hoping for the best possible outcomes for all those affected, especially those Mechwarriors based in Paris.

Seems like a legitimate topic provided no one starts with any crazy nonsense.
