Your post shows me saying "completely racist propaganda". I assume that's your response to what I said. Also it's interesting that you would name call, and attempt to direct hate onto Christians. It's like if I said that the Axis in WW2 were evil, and you say ya but this gang down the street does bad things too. What's the point except to direct attention away from the original topic.
btw Muslims aren't a race. They are members of the Islamic religion, and can be of any race.
Look at what boths sides have to say. Try to be objective, and keep personal views out of it while you are looking. I always look at both sides before solidifying a decision, not always easy to do. But I'm no ones fool....I take everything I hear with a grain of salt.
That's the last I'll say on the subject.

in all honesty, it's Fundamentalists period we should worry about. it's not the religion's fault, it's people taking stuff out of context so they can justify the ":right" to kill people. plenty of Christian fundamentalist groups around too.
The Christian Crusades ended a very long time ago, citing Christian fundamentalist as an excuse for Islamic extremism is flat out intellectual dishonest, which is typical from progressives/liberals to begin with. Meanwhile Muslim extremism has continued for thousands of years with no end in sight.
It's easy for progressives to simply label everything racism rather than talk of ways to handle the actual issues we face, including the fact that there is no vetting process at all to make sure these refugees aren't extremists as they flood into Europe because other Muslim countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia simple refuse to take them and why is that? It's the main reason you see countries in Europe like Sweden now facing massive immigration issues as they've had the flood gates opened since the 70's and are the **** capital of Europe. As even the more moderates among Muslims can't seem to bring themselves to stand up and renounce killing people for simply not converting. They don't integrate into host countries they migrate to, that's a fact progressives hate to admit to. Going so far as to blame conservatives for Islamic extremism that existed long before the US was even a country. Again Islam is not a religion, it's a tool of teritorial conquest and we're watching Europe slowly succumb to it because of the politically correct mindset thanks to progressive policy.

Im a proud liberal, and my liberal values are in direct opposition to Islam.
Free speech, gender equality, sexual equality, and the violent oppression of the masses are pretty much the norm in all Islamic countries.
And its not just the radical extremists, even the moderates in western countries share anti western and sexist values and beliefs. Im all for freedom of religion, except when it stomps on the rights of others or hurts other people in anyway.
I dont give Muslims a free pass, especially Muslims that live in the west, being open to criticism is apart of being western

Well at least one of you has some sense. I came across this earlier, and it made me sick to my stomach, apparently even moderate muslims support their extremist "brothers"

And you might want to also inform yourself about how Christian terrorism is a reality even nowadays : https://en.wikipedia...sm#Contemporary
You just tend to not hear about it because it doesn't sell as well as talking about the scary bearded Muslim who's out to chop your head. And frankly considering that the great majority of Islamic terrorism is towards people of Muslim faith this notion that the Faith itself is the root cause is as ridiculous as saying the Christian faith was the root cause of all the massacres during the Crusades and the different religious wars in Europe during the XVIe to XVIIIe periods as it ignores all the social and economic upheavals behind those events.
So back on topic, its nice gesture from PGI even tho rather then a simple flag I would have preferred having a 3d rendering of Frenchmen wearing a marcel and a beret with a baguette under his arm taking a **** on an Daesh flag... now that I would have gladly paid to have animated in all my Mech cockpits.

Youtube videos don't lie. And again, trying to equate anything Christian to what is happening around the world with Muslim extremism to excuse it, is flat out disgusting.

"Youtube videos don't lie" Wow .. thats a 'The Onion' worthy quote if there ever was one...
Quote
Two wrongs however, do not make a right and while whistling during the silence was distasteful the rumour claiming the fans were chanting Allahu Ekber as if they were celebrating the attacks could not be further from the truth.
The majority of fans were chanting a popular anti-terror slogan which basically translates to ‘martyrs never die the country will not be divided.’
...
Now regarding another popular chant – Ya Allah Bismillah Allahu Ekber – it is used predominantly in nationalist circles and derives from the Ottoman military marching bands. The bands songs were traditionally used to rally the troops but fans in football games use them to try and rally the players.

And since when has understanding the reasons for a problem ever equate to excusing it ? And please don't give me any of that feigned disgust when you call a whole religion as being a "a tool of teritorial conquest" and thus insult every believer of its 'very diverse) faith.
Heck I even wonder if you've talked or even ever met a Muslim in your life ? even less 10 or a 100 to see how each and every one of 'them' can be as varied as any of 'us'. And no watching Youtube videos of 'em only counts as much as watching vids of PewDiePie to understand the Swedish...

It was a soccer game in Turkey, instead of honoring a moment of silence for the Paris victims what does the majority Muslim crowd do? It boos and chants a phrase associated with death to non Muslims. Pretty black and white if you ask me. I talk to Muslims every day actually at the convenience store down the street from my house. They're nothing but rude on a regular basis unfortunately. Again if you don't want to assimilate into a host country you migrate to, stay in your own country. If you can't respect the culture of a country don't try to import your own as they have tried to do across Europe.
If those who are moderate Muslims refuse to stand up to extremism that's on them, not on me or anyone else for that matter. Stop making excuses for senseless killings in the name of global conquest.
"One month ago, Turkish supporters in the Central Anatolian province of Konya also booed a minute of silence for the victims of the Oct. 10 Ankara Massacre, in which 100 peace activists were killed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)" They can't even respect a minute of silence for victims of their own country. What does that tell you?

fine, the correct term is "Bigoted". doesn't change the fact you're specifically judging Muslims when people of any religion have been shown to be just as screwball.

You're kind of missing out that "Allahu Akbar" is also used in lots of non-beheading and non-blowing yourself up situations like : celebrating a birth in the family, your kid just got married or a survivor was found in a collapsed building ... its the middle east equivalent of "Oh my God" & "Praise the lord"

It must indeed be nice to ignore the worlds shades of grey.

So one small group of people is enough for you to generalize a whole and very diverse group. I used to run into an annoying group of Episcopalians when I was a kid, didn't bring me to equate all of Christianity as being racist bigots.

Yeah those darn Irish and Italians where such a nuisance bringing their "in your face" Catholicism to America in the 19th century. They should all have assimilated the protestant teachings of their host country ... or the animistic ones of the native Americans of the hosts hosts country.

Yeah, moderate Muslims really need to do something else then just get blown up in a regular basis by the extremists sending suicide bombers into their mosques, open markets and coffee shops. They should really organize and tell their unelected officials to stop being corrupt and tyrannical and really think about the common man, like they tried in Syria.
So yes Islam extremists, like Christian extremists like Jewish extremists need to be denounced an opposed. But overgenralizing is only playing into the terrorists game of pitting peaceful communities against each other as they feed from that chaos.
Because 1 week ago almost ot this hour 19 people where slaughtered a mere 150m from where I stand, some where Christian some where Jewish and some where Muslims. And all where together to have a good time between framily, friends and loved ones in a typical Parisian night of drinks, food and laughter. So I and others in my country as well as around the world aren't going to give in to the hate and fear they whished to instil in us.

You keep making this claim that denouncing Islamic extremism equates to all Muslims. It doesn't. I swear progressives like yourself all display Stockholm Syndrome with regard to Muslims in general. They're the people that get up in arms if God is mentioned in public schools in the US, but are quite alright with indoctrinating children to view Islam as just dandy. Remember kids Christians bad, Islam good. And I'm not religious in the slightest.

hey, i'm Christian...and you're full of **** if you think most Muslims FORCE their kids to be a certain way. ...and FYI.... it's the fact that a lot people DO equate Islamic extremists with the greater whole of Muslims that's the problem. there's about 1.5 BILLION Muslims. less than a hundred thousand are extremists, and they're disliked by the vast majority of the main body, especially BECAUSE people like you start lumping them in with a tiny portion. that's like saying all Christians are {Godwin's Law} or KKK or Westboro Baptist. It's incredibly closeminded and stupid to do.
....the point of this thread was to show support for people who lost loved ones and a country that was rocked by a heinous act. all breeding hate off it does is help these ******** recruit because you drive people TO them.

The murder of people going about their day to day lives as an act of terror needs to addressed. People need to make them selves better informed as to why these criminals believed that mass murder was acceptable to commit on a peaceful people and nation.
I have been observing things quietly for years and I must say that there is a very serious issue rising across the globe , and we are seeing it happening here in these posts.
Some players are posting what they are seeing as a cause or reason for the attacks in France. That those reasons are not just localized to what happened in France. Others are claiming people of racism or bigotry. Pointing fingers at other religions and claiming the same acts on them.
I would like to see people in general choose to look deeper into the groups involved in these attacks and their actions. Into their self justification of mass murder ( and I must say "cowardly act of suicide" to avoid facing the consequences of their actions).
I'm not going to go into a long justification concerning my religion or my years of experience dealing with multiple people/cultures and beliefs. I could. But there is no solid ground there. Even the mafia in the days of Al Capone would go to church every Sunday.
So to those of you willing to broaden your knowledge of this event and events that are happening in other parts of the world. Please do so.
There will always be those that will find an excuse to ignore or soften the impact.
I for one will continue to educate myself on events. Using more than just the news on the TV. Using my influence as a voter, and ability to speak openly in a respectful manner.
Thank you for your views and opinions. Now lets go continue to find solid facts on the issue that started all this.
Good day Ladies and Gentlemen.
