I can honestly say that I wouldn't have given this game a first look if it wasn't battletech. A giant Robot FPS just isn't enough to hold my interest with all the competition for my limited game time.
I can also say that if it wasn't for the fact that Piranha Games has shown extreme respect and sensitivity to the canon I wouldn't have dropped the $120 on the game.
In fact if it had been just another MW game I only would have dropped about $30.00, and judging from the number of people who agree with me and have legendary founder tags next to them. I'm not alone in the way I feel.
Would you play this game if it wasn't Battletech?

I played the Battletech tabletop game, bought TROs, painted miniatures first, played computer games later. That kinda explains it all
The more closer to the BT universe, the better for me and the higher the chances for me to be in. The more you get distant from the BT universe... you get the idea!

If the game wasn't Battletech, I'd play it but i definitely wouldn't buy the Founder's pack

While I might play another mecha-oriented game, I would probably NEVER invest in it the way I have the Battletech universe. Other mecha titles just do not have the depth, community, or staying power of this franchise.

Would be awesome if it was a warhammer game, and you rode Titans instead of mechs.
1 vs 1 games, as in 1 titan vs another, and you need 200 players before the game can start so you can have 100 people per titan.
