The 5k and Anansi have their ballistic range quirks removed. Please consider putting the mg range quirks back in - even if at a lower value.

Agree, to do any damage with machine guns, you need to shoot at his damaged part without armor (requirement 1), from ridiculously close range (2), hoping your enemy have stocked ammo the part you are shooting at (3). You will also need to use at least 4 machine guns, unless you plan to stand there for 20 seconds before doing anything to your enemy.
Spider need quirks giving this mech greater range, to make this weapon at least remotely usefull. You do not simply spam machine guns mindlessly at your enemy, it requires and will always require a lot of skill from the pilot, therefore all the effort put into mastering it shouldn't be punished by nerfing it to the ground.

I'm really hoping they removed the light ballistic quirks because they're planning a massive buff to MGs in the near future. I can't think of any other reason that would make even a tiny bit of sense.
Not that they've let that stop them in the past, but I can hope.

agree, spider needs some buffs. maybe decrease the generated heat to make it more comparable with cheetah and firestarter.

Even if PGI is planning to buff MGs, for a moment lack of quirks for ballistics makes spiders underpowered, instead of balanced mech. If you ever do anything with MGs, you can remove quirks then, not now when those are needed.

Also after playn on test - i can say the 5k and anansi is not playable.....even with that structure buffs...i think it needs more then we have to make it normal....MG quirks. movement quirks....heat MGMT...srm cooldown....atc...now that mechs not good at all....
