The Oxide is in a great place other than agilty. The accel and the Decel need to be tweaked up to 30 like the Jenner F and then it would be decent. right now its sluggish as anything.

The Other Jenner's agility is much better and you can actually stop go and turn a bit quicker.

the other Jenners need structure buffs like the oxide got. I am sorry but they all have the same exact weakness. The fact the oxide got the buff and none others did baffles me

I am about 40 matches in and there is a great disparity in the mechs. I think the weapons quirks are fine. However the agility and the armor need to be more even between the mechs.

  • C-bills Jenners need CT armor buffs, as for this mech is no able to spread damage as well as other lights, and it's Central Torso is huge.
  • Jenner-F needs quirks to lower it's heat generation, +10% heat reduction, so the Firestarter and Jenner would be on the same powerlevel. For a moment, Firestarter does everything better than Jenner, both live and PTS4. Those mechs have the same weight so there is no reason to make one of those work less efficient.

They screwed the Jenner and Heat when they did the last "Hit Box Fix" We had to put armor on our ST's now. Prior to that we were able to add in a few extra heat sinks. But we can not do that anymore.

its fine because i bet the jenner II C and jenner share the same hitboxes.
JK it wouldnt be okay if the clan version wouldnt be OP from the get go right?
I mean look at the Oxide and the Jenner IIC

jenner C II excels in every aspekt 315 XL CLAN which
is 15 more then the max of the best engine ratings of the IS on top with the Clan sidetorso bonus
2 additional missile slots and jumpjets
6 points maximal armor more
JJ

but giving ONLY the oxide the
Add Struc CT +11
Add Struc L/R Torso +8
Add Struc L/R Arm +12
Add Struc L/R Leg +16

seems pretty biased when all of the other CII jenners are mirrors of there IS versons

Will see about the IIc's when they come out and I absolutely agree with the oxide being the favored of the Jenners by PGI with the structure buffs it go. ALL the Jenners need that to move them back up to be competitive against the holy trinity.

The new NERF hitboxes to the sidetorsos of the jenner are terrible. idk why they even needed to introduce other hitboxes since they were fine and the jenner wasnt t1 since along long time ago in a far far away land.
Guess which mech would have suffered with the old hitboxes and giant CT hitbox the
Jenner IIC

.... wp PGI.

Not to necro a thread, but it is Jenner feedback.. And I'm not sure it warrants its own thread.

I'm finding that my Jenner isn't very useful for flanking due to the LRM spam. I try to flank LRM boats to disrupt fire, and all I really seem to do is trade 5%ish damage for about 20% to myself due to a Light spotting me and simply trailing me while the LRM boat I just fired on dumps his missiles onto my head.

I've relegated my Jenner to simply sticking around heavier mechs and waiting for (hopefully) an enemy mech to overextend so I can drop extra damage on him while he battles my heavier buddies.. I feel like my impact on a match is stunted by this. Some maps/matches, if they contain teams with 2-3 LRM boats and/or snipers, I end up being very useless. Flanking only draws the sniper/LRM fire while, again, a Light simply chases behind me to spot so those LRMs always hit. It's rather discouraging, considering I took a liking to the Jenner very early on and it was the first Mech I bought..
