Overview
Teams vie for control of two Objective Zones, one grants a point, one grants a respawn. First to 5 points wins.

Objective Zones
The game revolves around two moving Objective Zones: one Capture Zone and one Reinforcement Zone.

They capture just like Conquest Resource Nodes or Assault Mode Bases and the pair are always separated by some distance or terrain/LOS.

Gameplay
The game starts with two neutral Objective Zones.

Every 3 minutes the two Objective Zones disappear and a new set set appears.

At the end of each 3 minute countdown whichever team:

1) holds the Capture Zone gains 1 point.

2) holds the Reinforcement Zone, redrops dead players into the match in their original Mechs.

If a Capture Zone is won consecutively, it grants Consecutive Capture bonus points equal to the number of consecutive holds.

Example: Team 1 wins the Capture Zone they gain 1 point. If they win the next Capture Zone as well then they get 3 points (1 for the Capture, 2 for it being their 2nd consecutive capture). That’s a total score of 4. If they win the third Capture Zone they would get 4 points giving them a total of 8 points (needing 5 or more to win, Team 1 gets the victory).

Example: Team 1 wins Capture Zone and gains 1 point. Team 2 wins next Capture Zone, they get 1 point. Team 1 wins next Capture Zone, they get 1 point (total score of 2 now). If they win the next Capture Zone as well, they would get 3 points ( 1 for the Capture, 2 for it being their 2nd consecutive capture). That would be 5 points for Team 1, they win.



300 Cbills rewarded every second a team holds the Capture Zone (that works out to 9,000 cbills per 30 seconds)

Win Conditions
First team to 5 or more points wins
Destroy 12 enemy’s wins.
On time out, most points wins.

Goals
This game mode seeks to make teams strike a balance between controlling two separated objectives.

If Team 1 seeks to ONLY control the Capture Zone it will lead to diminishing returns as Team 2 will likely control the Reinforcement Zone and keep returning with fresh Mechs and win via attrition.

Conversely, if a Team 2 doesn’t attempt to break Team 1’s consecutive wins of a Capture Zone then they will lose quickly (due to Consecutive Capture Bonus).
