Greetings MechWarriors,

We will be rolling out a hot-fix tomorrow, Friday December 4th, scheduled for 10:00 AM PST [6:30 PM UTC], with the following changes:

The following 'Mechs are receiving Quirk adjustments:

Mist Lynx
All other existing MLX Quirks not listed here have not been changed.
MLX-A
LT/RT OmniPod: Arm Movement Quirks have been removed.
LL/RL OmniPod: Turn Rate Quirks have been removed.
CT OmniPod has been provided with the following new or improved Quirks:
Energy Heat Gen -10%
Accel 60%
Decel 60%
Turn Rate 45%
Torso Turn Rate (Yaw) 40%

MLX-B
LA OmniPod: ER Laser Heat Gen and Energy Heat Gen Quirks have been removed.
LL/RL OmniPod: Accel/Decel Rate Quirks have been removed.
CT OmniPod has been provided with the following new or improved Quirks:
Energy Heat Gen -10%
Accel 60%
Decel 60%
Turn Rate 45%
Torso Turn Rate (Yaw) 40%

MLX-C
LT/RT OmniPod: Torso Yaw Rate Quirks have been removed.
RA OmniPod: ER Laser Heat Gen and Energy Heat Gen Quirks have been removed.
CT OmniPod has been provided with the following new or improved Quirks:
Energy Heat Gen -10%
Accel 60%
Decel 60%
Turn Rate 45%

MLX-Prime
LT/RT OmniPod: Torso Yaw Rate Quirks have been removed.

Energy Range Quirk has been decreased to +10%.
Laser Duration Quirk has been removed.
Energy Heat Gen Quirk has been decreased to -10%.

The hot fix also includes these additional fixes and changes:

Fixing an issue with 'Mech Portraits when running at triple-monitor resolutions.
Fixing a Pattern issue with 2015 Loyalty 'Mechs.
Fixing an audio issue with the Marauder when a component has been destroyed.
Adjustments to the update frequency for HUD elements.
The December 1st patch included some changes to the HUD in an effort to reduce its performance footprint. While this led to a performance boost of up to 10 fps for a wide range of systems, for certain configurations and players this led to HUD elements sometimes appearing jittery. The adjustment in this hot-fix is intended to improve the smoothness with which HUD elements appear to change, while still trying to retain some of the performance improvements introduced in the December 1st patch.

The maximum estimated downtime required for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.
When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.

Oh good Gargoyle got buffed with mobility. It was really unplayable from 1st dec patch and now i can hop in it back :]

It would have been so much easier to leave the clans as they have been, and just tune the IS quirks to get em in balance...

Good stuff, those mechs needed some love. And for the next iteration...time to drop the clan negatives! With all the clan nerfs and IS buffs, I think its time to say goodbye to the negative energy quirks on clan mechs!

(a typo? ... we have 2 ADR-Ds)

Also... Mist Lynx needs more energy heat reduction buffs, and ability to remove CAP.

Well, I guess we'll see what the Executioner meta will entail.

Every other change is for many of the terrible Clan mechs (minus Nova, and Ice Ferret to a degree).

The latter "Adder-D" is the Prime, because it has ERPPC heat gen quirks.

here is something else for you folks to work on... I know for a fact this happens in victric forge, not sure about other places, but when you leave the drop zone unless you have jump jets or are very careful of how you get out of there there is a good chance that you are going to take leg damage, which we shouldn't be getting... and I am sure that I am not the only player who has experienced this. As for the event, we Wolves took it before, and we will again. we made our Khan, Merlin Conners, the IlKhan...

It'll be better at everything else though.. (10% heat gen doesn't really cover the sub-250 engine issue, but whatever).

Easiest "quirk fix" is to add 2.5% ERPPC heat gen to both arms.. that will put it back more or less where was before.

That is what i expected to see.

but again... i expect buffs to MGs, flamers, LBX and IS streaks as well!... these damn expectations!
