2B. I have 429 games in it and never, ever, ever, EVER play any other Cicada because I feel it's just that superior. You can make people look terribly silly in that thing if you are good.
1k damage game by me for example. Many assaults toppled:

ECM is a given, my remaining votes are 2A if space poor or X-5 if you have money to burn.

The CDA-2B is, for me, the most deadly and most fun. Have gotten so many 1k games in the thing. Run around and stab people with insta-30-dmg wubz that require almost no face time.
However, I'm not so sure how it'll continue to stand in the next quirk iteration as it's losing all its range quirks (which is 20% on mpls) which could really hurt it. 2A looks like it'll end up being the best offensive CDA.

Had with my 3m a great run in CW a week or two ago with 1620 dmg. I didn't realized I made that much damage and got cocky...but I'm not running any of the above setups

3M (ECM Variant) with 3 ERLL + ECM, XL 295. Pretty nasty. Also works well and a bit cooler with non-extended range large lasers.
I personally like the 3C with a big engine (i use a XL 320), ERPPC and 4xMG. It has spare tonnage for extra ammo or even AMS. It's not a power mech, but it's very funny and annoying thanks to the overquirked erppc.
Try the 3C with a smaller engine, ERPPC + (U)AC5. Its much better imo, the increase in damage output over the single ERPPC is very noticable.
CDA-3C
Or
CDA-3C (faster, AC5 instead of UAC5)
