in all honesty, people who buy chassis solely for quirks are stupid. it's the way the chassis looks and the hardpoint layouts that really matter.

Kind of what I was getting at - getting into the minutia of a fictional universe for a video game of a tabletop role-playing game...

Take it to the fluff section, guys, and have it out.

[edit] Adding that as low-slung as this thing will be, it'll be a nasty brawler. It'll suffer from Stalker-ism by not wanting to turn a side at an enemy. That high-mounted ballistic is crying for a Gauss Rifle, and I might have to do that with at least one build.

Also: Hatchetman.

Oh yeah, preorded a while back. Loved the looks, promise of high-mounted dakka, and ya know, it the Marauder :P

Just wondering which of the ballistic capable models will run my build more efficiently at this point.

No, last day is usually gameplay footage, or a live stream. We typically get quirk info either in the patch notes, or more recently in the new "New mech details for xx/xx/xx patch" thread.

Not a whole lot of offensive quirks (though PPC velocity is gonna make for accurate shots), but plenty of agility and durability there! 3R is gonna be very nimble, and the others have JJ. Should be pretty good at defending those broad sides when dueling.

Yeah, she got very satisfactory quirks. Nothing over the top (except that PPC velocity <3 Not that I'm complaining!) The accel/decel, turn rate, and torso turn rate are gonna be HUGE boons to this mech.

I do wish the BH2 had another 5% heat gen reduction (10% overall) but it's gonna be a pretty deadly mech as-is, so I can see why they kept it low.

I guess anything below +40% PPC velocity would've arguably been grounds for QQ, as that's what IS mechs with PPC's in stock builds seem to get that across the board. There're Cicadas, Vindicators and Awesomes with +50% too.

I guess they really want you to run those PPC's. :P It's a little weird though that they don't simply put some of that percentage into the base weapon velocity.

I'm liking the new cockpit items they're handing out. Still this mech will be fun to play especially on the first day since I predict there will be a lot of them running around causing trouble. (In a good way of course. :D )

The heavy queue dominance will get better on the 15th. I expect to see a lot of Hinchie IICs, and Jenner IICs, not likely to see as many Orion/Highlanders right away...

Why not a Marauder only game mode for week?
I expect the wait times significantly shorter than in CW.
