Looks good. The cannons shown are all a good size. Only complaint I have is that the placement of the 3rd cannon looks a little lazy. And thank you Bombadil for sharing this with us.

No screens with Hero variant with 3-rd energy slots in hands? (hope for some like Mauler-2P)

I prefer it that way, all covered with c-bill symbol would have ruined the stuff. Sometime it is best not to strictly follow the lore.

Correction, it wouldn't be Mechwarrior, Btech actively discouraged custom mechs in a number of ways.

it wasn't like that in lore. that guy just wanted it obnoxious. and in fairness, said spinal gun placement is just fine, and accurate to lore (it's ALWAYS been RT mounted). the only reason there was a turret at ALL was the fact that the original Marauder wasn't modified from the Glaug pod much

Not the biggest fan of the 2nd and 3rd barrel placement.
I really, really hoped they'd be placed in a triangular pattern:
-Second barrel adding next to the first barrel
-Third barrel adding on top of the first two.

Why does the marauder look so long? Reminds me of a helicopter body with hands and legs.

That third bottom AC is not aligned to the other two and its wonkiness is setting my OCD senses on FIRE! OVERRIDE SHUTDOWN OVERRIDE SHUTDOWN!!!

main reason for that is how focused it'd make shots. clustering like that isn't too terribly overpowered when it's just lasers. quite a bit different when it's Autocannons (said clustering is also part of why the Wolfhound is an excellent light. sure the Firestarter can boat more lasers, but they'll be spreading the damage around a lot more)

I really doubt that.
Especially when we have Timberwolves with multiple extremely high mounted energy hardpoints that are right next to each other.

It's more probable, that there were some minor issues with fitting the extra hardpoints due to the vents being so close to it and the guys couldn't be bothered to change it around to fit.

I am so happy with the Marauder. It's a damn fine looking piece of machinery. It will be difficult to play anything else.
PGI, please up my tonnage for CW drop decks to 300 tons so I can field a 4 Marauder drop deck. :D

my point was it's OKAY with energy hardpoints, dude. having three Autocannons tightly clustered for blowing cockpits out at long range is a lot different. might want to work on reading a whole post before you try to deconstruct its fallacies.

Right, because PPCs don't use the Energy hardpoints, right? And they're magically impossible to use against cockpits, right?

Not only that, C-ERPPCs have faster projectile speed than the AC5s, so how about that?
