was I imagining things when I remeber people talking about another round of beta keys being given out today..... there's been no news

Everything I've read said update to servers today. I'm thinking people were hopeful more keys would be released as well.

There was no definitive announcement of another wave of invites going out today.
They said that they would get ther "full production hardware" today and that they could then go over to Phase 2 of the Closed Beta, but that doesn't neccessarily mean they will send out invites right away...still I should expect some invites going out in the next few days...

Its only 1:30 Pacific time. They have usually announced beta keys in the afternoon - around 4-5pm. If we hit 6pm with no word from the Devs then perhaps the new servers aren't up or fully vetted yet... but Russ' comments in past threads certainly seemed to indicate today as being the start of Closed Beta - Phase 2.

Also, Tuesdays seem to hold special magic at PGI: Founders launch is on a Tuesday, as was the first sign-up date for the founders program.

IIRC it was stated that they were updating their infrastructure today. They stated that 'closed beta 2' (with more invites) will follow shortly after. So, best case scenario was them sending invites out today, but who knows how long their move to production hardware will take. Maybe they will be setting it up all week.

Getting all the hardware up and running may take some time... like, days.

If they are rolling new hardware out today, I'd say give it a day or two before more BETA keys are released. I'm sure they have plenty going on now as it is.

I'd be VERY surprised if keys were not released by Friday afternoon. Thurs/Friday is my best guesstimate.

Sorry to inform you...but you really can't successfully gage your game if you only have 20 to 50 people testing it.

Yeah new servers were supposed to be installed today so more invites should come in the next week or so

I sure hope there are some keys released today.. Either way I could swing the upgrade to legendary founder today so that makes me happy.

We'll see in a few hours if new keys will be released. Personally i would send out some beta keys to please the community and to keep up the interest with a message that annouces more keys soon, even if the servers are not ready as i'm sure they can handle plus 250-500 keys.

I'm pretty sure I never stated I wanted a beta key now... I simply stated that I was expecting to hear some news today that didn't occour...

On a somewhat related note, I think the hardware switching may have started.

Did anyone else lose the website for ~5 mins, or was that just my ISP being stupid?

5? i had to wait 15, yeah theres def a hardware swap today, we'll probaly see a official post about it later today.
