As the title says I'm wondering if I've have the correct amount of mechbays after buying new ones from the store.

The game says I have 9.

Now if I'm not remembering it incorrectly you get 4 free ones with a new account.

I then bought the Urbie bundle giving me 3 urbies each with their own free mechbay. So that's +3 bays for a total of 7.

Then I got a timberwolf-(C) at the halloween event again with its own bay. So that's +1 bay for a total of 8.

I now bought 3 new mechbays in the ingame store for 300 MC. So that's +3 which should give me a total of 11.

So why does the game say I only have 9 bays?

It says 6 bays are in use which is correct when I own 2 other mechs besides the URbies and the timberwolf. so why don't it show the total number of bays as 9?

Even if it doesn't count bays you get from free mechs and bundles it then shouldn't say it was 9 but 7?.

You may need to refresh your account before the mech bays will appear. Also, there have been various giveaways that have allowed some to get free mechs bays. Additionally, one of the Community Warfare rewards for achieving a certain number of loyalty points is mech bays.

Mech bay's cost 300mc each, so if you only spent 300mc then you purchased 1 mech bay, not 3. Note that when purchasing mech bays, the number in the mech bay window is the number of empty bays you have, not the number you get per 300 mc

Well that explains it... and sucks... and is bordering on fraudulent information for a consumer.
After all if you see a big 3 (in my case) in front of the price on an item you are going to buy you tend to assume that's the number of items that price covers. Not that number show you how many items you already own.

I find the display (the big 3 you mentioned) to be an issue with the new layout. It used to say mechbay count next to your cbills/mc amount on the bottom left. I miss that display.

I bought one as an experiment the first time to see how many I would get as at the time I also had 3 free mech bays. You're better off waiting for a sale on mech bays, or do some CW drops (if you're ready for that), you can get 10 mech bays fairly easily if you rotate through the factions.

If you hit that yellow MC button in the center at the top of the forum screen (need to be logged in), you'll see a record of everything you did with MC.

Like DirtyChewie said, it's better to wait for a sale on mechbays, then buy a lot of them.

You might want to add mechs + free bays for your grand total.
