I noticed last night that whenever an ECM mech turns up, I can target them at 600m.
This is different to live server (and should be rolled to live server; that 200m range to target on Live is stupid).

That is because PGI got the "180mm cloak" of the ECM backwards, and cloaks them from 200 meters up to infinite on the live servers, causing hundreds of balancing issues. (Not that ECM cloaks at all in BT, or even affects standard missiles).
The testing servers are an attempt to correct that problem. And though being sloppy at it, there seems to be some positive results.

Whatever gets positive results is worth the effort in my book ECM has been simply broken for a long time now, it is nice to see it being brought to more reasonable position. Fliping some old ideas backwards to achieve it might not be a bad thing at all.
