its sooo much in need of optimization
just switching off the HUD gives a sizable fps boost
some features are also a bit broken like the AA settings which cost way too much fps for a title that looks like it does (and boy do they make this game look blurry)
I get way better fps in Fallout 4 and Far Cry 4 with TXAA and everything cranked up
some effects like particles are resource hogs without looking the part
in normal group match I get ~100 fps
CW ~70
trick is to dial down effects that are not doing a lot, but cost too much fps wise
i5 at 4.1 Ghz on air
16GB RAM
GTX 780 not OC'd
2560x1080 res
you might need to drop into training grounds
and try to fiddle around with settings which give you the most dive in fps and see if those are actually worth to you (particles from LRM trail smoke, steam from overheating for instance cost still too much fps)

You may need to tweak the Nvidia SLi profile for MWO in Nvidia Inspector for the 3x Titan Black. Experiment with different SLi settings, see what happens.

It's horrible. Some remake of the maps are a logic cause of it, but then again: it did go down by a fair margin.
Not to mention i run 2600K wiht 2x GTX 460 'potato' cards.
I think max fps is around...60-70. And in combat around 40.
Used to be 100 plus though.
I set everything on low settings but only the texturing of mech i got it on high/very high.

Frames can drop into single digits when fighting gets intense or when shooting a wall a point blank with lasers and creating lots of particles

GTX 960 SuperSC
Still get frame drops on just about any map when the laser spam starts going. I have all settings to medium/low; especially the ones mentioned here I always go for first like Post FX.

I have a Radeon HD 7950
Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
12 GB RAM
I am running MWO at 2560 x 1440 on Medium Settings.
My frame rate lags out and sometimes gets me killed in close melees. It's worse in CW than Quick Play.
What settings should I turn off or down in order to get a better frame rate?

I have tried dropping some settings. Does make a slight improvement, I know I'm being picky by saying I shouldn't have too. It's just that I don't build a bad a$$ rig to get sub par performance. Hope things get improved soon...

Have played with SLI profiles many times, still no improvement. But then again Multi GPU gets practically no support anyway.
