Does anyone know if premium time bought this way is activated immediately or gets banked for activation at a later date?

It's always activated as soon as it is purchased in-game (just like the mastery packs that contain premium time).

Banked premium time is only available through packs.

Premium Time via gifts are activated on login once redeemed through the website (so, don't redeem until you plan to use it). Gifts AFAIK haven't ever been on discount though (which is the same case here - the only discounted premium time is the MC based version).

Pretty sure it's immediate - only package time is banked. IMO, the yearly premium time deal at 50% off is a pretty good if you combine it with the 20% bonus MC. I think it works out to around $3.50 a month if you buy $50 or more MC.

Good sale. I am opting "no sale" due to wanting to see changes first before I buy more product(s). Seeing mechs that might have been bought for quirks changed leaves a bad taste in the mouth, BUT realize why it has to happen and don't fault PGI. Loved what I saw on PTS, but need to see the end results. Guys might want to post up a change log for next patch today for some fence sitters.

Well...as long as prem time is running up while you are not playing this whole system is not very customer friendly.

Make it buying premium time hours but then let it only count down while u have a crosshair and can fire at something.

This system right now makes me feel betrayed when 3/4 of payed time are fading away while i have to work and sleep during the day! And don´t forget that very often you have to wait 20+ mins for a game, damned to stare at the screen...

Not completely true.

League of Legends offers two types of premium. In my opinion it's a great idea because both products appeal to different types of gamers (bingers vs sporadics).

Sorry to sound like wet blanket, but discouted Mechbays have ninja'ed back up to 240MC (20% off) instead of the 50% off - not sure if feature or bug?

I came here to ask about the same issue. I bought a dozen mechbays at the start of the sale and I wanted to buy more now, but the price is back up to 240MC instead of 150MC. What gives?

I finally remembered to login into MWO to buy some mechbays, there's still 3 and a half hours to the end of the sale and the mechbays are 240MC.

I go to the site and see a glaring advertisment of 50% discount on the main page!

There's such a thing as Fals Advertisement, PGI.
